  there is only 1 way to become a jw, and accept all of the teachings.. you have to accept the govering body as god.

  that means that they have all of the answers.

  if you accept that then you will believe it all.. have you noticed that all jw's take everything as it is from god?.

  i am in good standing (of sorts) with the wts.

  i have not gone out in service for 10 years - i have not been to a meeting in about 2 years - i skipped last years memorial.

  my dad is a pioneer and elder.

  Scriptures that bothered me when I was a Witness

  i was just thinking of a some of the scriptures that really bothered me when i was a witness.

  one of them was exodus 34:6" "and jehovah went passing before his face declaring: "jehovah jehovah a god merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loving-kindness and truth".

  to me this made god look like a little kid with an out of control ego.

  i was sick for 3 or 4 days after i found out it isn't the truth.. .

  then i got really pissed and started telling other jw's.. .

  From the time I was a little kid reading the Bible Story book, I knew that the bible was not the truth. I never did believe the JW thing because I did not believe that the bible was gods word.

  a friend of mine has 'reminded' me of how much i loved looking up into the heavens and gazing at the twinkling lights.

  i love the stars, planets, galaxies, nebulas.

  their designs, colours, vastness, the endless renewal of light.

  i just spoke with my dad about the gb.

  he said that raymond franz was not the only gb member to be df'd.

  he said that there were 3. is that true?.

  That is what I thought. He is crazy (elder,pioneer) I just told him that I read Ray Franz book. He did not want to hear anything about the book (because it is APOSTATE). I can not believe how close minded a person can be.
