Remember that in those days, the exposures were long so there probably was a short break between exposures.
Indeed.
Since deep wrinkles will be made to their face if they continue smiling long time, don't they have a smile?

Hi, Leolaia.
Thank you for the information of that Watchtower.
It seems that the photograph is subtly different although I checked that Watchtower magazine.
(For example, the hat, and the difference in the direction of people's face, and the angle of the cane which the male has. etc...)

But it is the photograph taken on April 24, 1910 clearly.

Hi, ninja.
maybe the real headline should be "rupture in 1914"....hence the grimaces
Indeed.
A face expresses the person's feelings.

why don't they have a smile?.
thought some folks might appreciate this.
this is based on my tough question number 41:.
your interpretation states that jesus is not saying he is one with the father.
Hi, Tuesday.
Probably, the text which you write is too long always.
Please show by the shorter sentence.
If it is not a person who is interested in that topic, people will feel that it is tedious, when reading a long text.
In addition, it may be hard to read when all the texts are made into italics.
is pdf of feb 15th 2009 available?.
has anyone posted it ?.
Why doesn't the Watch Tower society enable it so that everyone can download PDF files or text data?
is jehovah himself playing both ends against the middle?.
jehovah the creator; jehovah the destroyer.
this thing seems like a jekyll and hyde!.
cameo-d,
In many cases, I did not answer to many of questions which you have raised.
Since you criticized "It is New Age", before you listened to my current belief.
Although I do not know in what country you live, the churches called "New Thought" exist in the United States.
Probably those churches will answer to the question of yours completely.
Or the answer is written in Dr. Joseph Murphy's books.
for the life of me i can't remember and can't find even with "search" what the exact belief was about the age of the earth.
did it change?
i could have sworn we were taught to believe that the earth was no more than 5-7 thousand years old.
Hi, Tatiana.
Although I do not know whether it will be help you, please look at what I had described in the following thread.

Well, about the age of the earth, the publications of JW have not been declared since former times.

it seems the occult origins of the word "watchtower" has been around for a very long time.
did the founders of the watchtower bts choose that banner name to reveal the origins of their spirit guides?.
a watchtower is a spirit guardian of one of the four cardinal points in both ceremonial magic and the neopagan religion of wicca.. alternately, the watchtowers are the abodes of the guardians.. often believed to represent the four elements, the watchtowers are invoked during ritual to cast the magic circle.. in many wicca and witchcraft systems the watchtowers are evocational symbols of spiritual beings known as the watchers or the grigori.
*** jv chap. 5 p. 48 Proclaiming the Lord’s Return (1870-1914) ***
The expression “Watch Tower” is not unique to Russell’s writings or to Jehovah’s Witnesses. George Storrs published a book in the 1850’s called The Watch Tower: Or, Man in Death; and the Hope for a Future Life. The name was also incorporated in the title of various religious periodicals. It stems from the idea of keeping on the watch for the outworking of God’s purposes.—Isa. 21:8, 11, 12; Ezek. 3:17; Hab. 2:1.
this deserves to be mentioned here again.
it is absolutely brilliant!.
it shows perfectly just how seriously "pastor" charles t. russell should be taken.. jehovah's witnesses founder and the pryamid.
Russell took in the vogue (pyramidology) of those days.
Except it, he had described the very earnest thing.
His words are superior to the words which the current Governing Body says.

In many cases, the presidents after Rutherford made the current organization crazy.
