1960's -1990's japan had a huge increase in publishers sometimes 10,000 a year!

this peaked in 1998...since then publisher numbers for unknown reasons dropped dramatically!!!!.

Well, the movie which I recommend to you is "Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato (1978)."
Other series may sometimes be "trash."
For me (and many Japanese people), the movie "Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato (1978)" is the last and a genuine Yamato.

I think that your explanation is interesting.
But, I feel that it is probably difficult to connect your explanation with the TOYOTA's emblem.
That the most unconvincing in your explanation is what you said about the emblem of the "TOYOTA."
On the other hand, your explanations concerning the "MAZDA" and the "SUBARU" are right/correct.
But, with regard to the "SUBARU", it is unconnected with "astrology."
That is merely the name of a star cluster.
Well, if you want to criticize the "TOYOTA", you may be able to explain like this.
In Japan, people honor "the number of strokes" in the letters used for names.
The true name of the TOYOTA is "TOYODA."
But, they altered into the name of "TOYOTA", because "the number of strokes" in the letters was good in Japanese.
That is connected with Japanese superstition to the figure/numeral of "eight", or fortunetelling.
But that emblem and "SEX" are unconnected.
