  Nope - already started, read a letter Tuesday night for $4.50 per publisher for worldwide support -- this is the 3rd or 4th time this amount has been passed for different things, insce, ww work, etc... all raised their hands, incl me, and no dissenting hands -- who would?? So that's another $300 out of the coffers

  missing a lot of the oldies and goodies -- is this site so new, no one has signed on yet?

  i am confused... but then, i will have to wait and see what happens.. somehow - change is not the best option but we adjust..have most of the users gone to other locations?.

  JW.ORG REPORTS THE WATCHTOWER RESPONSE TO EBOLA

  i just checked the jw.org website and noticed an article about the jw response to ebola.

  as i suspected, the entire focus was on alerting and educating jw members about ebola.just like in other disaster situations, the jw organization almost exclusively assists it's own members, ignoring the general public.

  it seems their main concern is keeping their members healthy so they can continue to spread the jw message door to door!!!

  In the book - Our Ministry - I think it is - there are Q & A in the back of the book and one of those answers covers illnesses -that no one who love their brothers and sisters would come to a KH while contagious or sick.. wonder where that thought all went seeing that Ebola seems to be air borne now that the people getting sick and dont know how they caught it, seeing they were wearing hazmat type equipment and suited up.

  This will, no doubt, get out of hand in NA seeing that people make big mistakes, lie as to their travel arrangements- flying out of one ebola infested country to another " safe", clean country -- THEN coming into the NA continent.... hospitals and training is lax, in Canada, US, Mexico - and some who have been in contaminated areas see no wrong in walking among us without notifying medical personnell that they have been in contact with ebola or ebola patients. case in point is the U S news lady who refused to report to authorities and stayed in the public areas.

  What a way to wipe out an enemy????? and believe me -- I WOULD NOT be going D2d........

  He didn't mention where the branch was, and I would imagine he has visited a lot, so now everyone is running around all the branches like chickens with their heads cust, off asking, "Was it us, was it us he was talking about??"

  Maybe that is what happened to the decine in the branches, Morris shut them out!

  i read here recently that the khs are being instructed to buy and install projector systems.. now that we've seen the launch of of tv.jw.org we can fully expect public talks to - on a monthly basis at least - be replaced by content streamed from the site to the screens in khs.. .

  Visited HQ last year and one of the instructors said " if you see one of the members of the GB, please do not approach or speak with them".... how is that for a smack in the face -- what a loving organization that keeps the sheep away from the shepherds....

  So now we will see them at arms length through a plasma tv -- what a joke!

  As it seems in the appeal, the WTBTS is trying to put distance between them and the elders, DO's,CO's, etc... what about the April WT that shows the GB is directly receiving "spiritual light" from Jehovah himself--- sitting upon the Ezekiel vision, which in turn passes down to the rank and then to the congregatioon... wouldn't this show the courts that this is the thinking and they ARE responsible to the congregation to be either sued or found bloodguilty by members odf the congregation, if warning is not made to the congregation? Elders, Co's and DO's and the GB should be made aware of this - that they could lose their homes, savings, cars, etc. when found guilty of this misappropriation of trust and culpability for any information that could harm others in the congregations...

  Take a look at the picture in the last study article. Sh... rolls downhill.

  i know the question is long, but it has occured to me that there are a lot of newbies here but before that, many ex elders, some co and do's that are no longer jw's.... did the publishers comments at a jc about the misconceptions,dates, and lack of holy spirit, etc.

  make sense to you and did you start thinking about the failed prophecies, fudging the "new light" etc.

  which caused you to slowly fade away.. .

  Bump In case there are other elders, i e Winston Smith, etc. Winston Churchill --- etc. who would want to comment on their leaving the org due to involvement of judging others in a JC... So far, it seems that this is a devasting experience for those with emphathy towards those who have had to appear before a tribunal of "strangers" really - exposing their deepest embarassments Appreciate all the comments so far, thanks eveyone TL

  accordingly, rather than set up philanthropic organizations, jehovahs witnesses, in imitation of jesus christ, prefer to devote their time and financial resources to announcing the good news of [gods] kingdom.matthew 24:14; luke 4:43.. i have collected a few quotes like this one but could use some more.

  I may be off base, but I do donate to the local fire hall, the local hospital, the animal shelters and volunteer on the phones for a health group.. and if someone needs somethin, I always, always give it to them - never have I sold anything to anyone who is in need.. TL

  Governing Body Taking It To The Limit With Reguards To Rank And File Gullibility, How Far Will They Go?

  when you look at the new governing body and what they are dishing out to the rank and file, it shows that they are taking their gullibilty to the limits.. they appeal only to this gullibilty with tremendous leaps in logic they read the mind of god and tell the rank and file, what makes jehovah sad(for 3year old mentality), what all the issues are in heaven that are invisible to human eyes, their take on this "universal soverneingty" completely invisible and unsubstantiated by any degree of logic, composed of wishful thinking thought projections of a fantacy, and this makes up everything in their whole theology on which they proceed as a starting point.. the rank and file for the most part are eating this up, some are awakening because of this babel that is comming from the top ceos of this corporation, will the trickle become a flood as the governing body plays the gullibility card to the max?

  time will tell, as time is already telling us they are more and more relying on the gullibility of the rank and file with no limits in sight.. what will they do when their delusional thinking and resulting bullshit found in their communications to the rank and file reach a tipping point and are causing great losses for their corporation?

  April 15 WT gullibility -- the picture in the last lesson of Jehovahs Throne in the heavens as seen in the Ezekiel vision and then listed below that picture indicating Jehovah is dealing directly to 1) The governing body, then the district overseers, then the circuit overseers, elders, down to the publishers --- leaving Jesus out of the picture entirely - and I bet nothing will be said during this lesson re this profane picture--

  (also note the heirachy levels -which the society says is not applicable)

  First the hints of Jesus not being our Mediator for years, now the visual of this set up is disturbing - to say the least and this will be swallowed hook line and sinker! Especially since the scripture says " He( Jesus), is a mediator, not only for US but for the whole world" - how can this be displaced by a group of men who, in their own words during the 2012 Oct Annual Meeting state they do not have a hole in the ceiling " whereby they receive any enlightment from the spirit when making decisions and some things are not discussed for years....we could die in that time...

  Major gullibility by probably 80% -- the old 20/80 rule!

  FS has culled the meanings of the deception very well..

  Discussion with family member who is an Elder in our congregation

  so about a week ago, i showed my cousin & her husband [an elder in our congregation] the picture on pg 29 of our 4/15/2013 study wt and asked, "if jesus is head of the congregation then where is he?".

  after several minutes of searching, dead silence.. i then asked if they had heard the part on the 2012 summer district conv the part about "our spiritual mother, where the c.o said that "the bible by itself does not shine thru as life-giving truths just by itself.

  " they were shocked and said that i must have misheard it because that would be apostasy.

  Getting back to the "Mother" organization again, I did some research and they are re - hashing the 1957 edition of the WT on this subject and , after being dropped before, now are bringing it back again, saying that the mother organization is heavenly - Jehovahs woman, whenceforth came Jesus, BUT the kicker is that now the 144,000 - Jesus' bride --- will be part of that heavenly organization called mother and the question is: Does that make Jesus inferior to the 144,000? After all, the 144,000 only died righteous for their own sake, they did not die for the world of mankind who put faith in Jesus sacrifice so why would they be elevated to a higher position than Jesus

  By the way NE, I had the exact same questions after I heard the talk and it has bothered me to the extreme. I have mentioned this to other Dubs but I think I am now marked, so be it.
