The quotes Roman Historian Tacitus (A.D. 112) also show Jesus to be a historical person.

i went on the un main website but i could not find anything.

Also, keep in mind that the fact that the Watchtower is not true, does not mean that the Bible is not true. I am a Christian who believes the Bible, but I do not believe that the Watchtower is "God's Organization". Many people here threw out the Bible the same time they threw out the Watchtower. I think that this is throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

You can show JW involvement with their own publications. They should be much more likely to believe their own literature than UN literature.

DNA and Man's origin

i think as time goes on and dna gets understood better and better it will be imposible for fundamental christians to defend thier position against evolution.

kind of like the catholic church going against galileio saying the "earth is not the center of the universe".. "eventually"(maybe not now) to fight against the evidence makes you look very stupid and under heavy mind control.. don't get me wrong i beleive there is a god, and i think he used "gradualism" to create the universe and life, i even feel the first 2 chapter of genesis are discribing a very long drawn out process that took just as evolutionist are telling us, billions of years till finally man appears.. eventually the wt is going to have to change its understanding of genesis to even stay credible..

Then those who are interested in dialogue with you on these things could address your comments. This would then free this thread up for those who wish to discuss the subject at hand (ie. DNA issues).

I wasn't saying that Diocletian actually disproved any aspect of paganism. I was merely using the same logic as those who imply that the Mideval Roman Catholic Church disproves Christianity.

The points don't need to be addressed, because they are off the topic of "DNA and Man's origin". You pride yourself on being a competent cretaion/evolution debater. However you:

Go off topic
Use a rude, insulting attitude
Invoke dogmatic statements as though they are observed facts

Abaddon, the site I linked was itself very cautious about the Josephus references. I will when time permits post some direct references from 1st century accounts of Jesus of Nazareth.
