Watchtower Farms Cemetery gravestone photos - sad
by BonaFide infirst of all, if anyone is offended by the photos, then i will ask this topic to be removed.
i am posting the photos because i get sad sometimes about people being forgotten who tried so hard, even though they were wrong.
the cemetery is pretty easy to find, if you have any interest in finding it.

I wonder what the younger ones died of? Why were they buried there? Poor families maybe.

Is it really just innocent words?
by lonestar63 infrom what i've read on here, i understand many of you have a certain amount of anger over the way the society controlled every aspect of your lives.
thats understandable.
i still have a bit, even though my fade is complete.. that being said, i think everyone on here has a goal to help those that are still trapped inside the mind controlling cult.

I have to agree. When I first came on here, and when a friend of mine came on here, even though I had some serious questions, I was somewhat offended by some of the expressions such as Witlesses and Kingdum Hell. Those who write those things will say of course, "Well it doesn't bother ME." Yes, but might it offend NEW ones? That is the point being made.
Yes, people have the right to say what they want. But the way we say things sometimes blocks our message. I am having way better results with my friends since I toned down my rhetoric.

First of all, if anyone is offended by the photos, then I will ask this topic to be removed. I am posting the photos because I get sad sometimes about people being forgotten who tried so hard, even though they were wrong. Some of them we all know…others I wonder about.
The cemetery is pretty easy to find, if you have any interest in finding it. Drive north on Red Mills Rd. past the WT Farms, then turn right at the first corner. Look to your left, I think its on Paradise Lane or just past it, anyway you will see a huge gray metal gate. It is electric, so someone will have to let you in. We waited a few minutes, the brother driving said someone always is coming out of there because they use the big property for storage as well. Sure enough, a few minutes later, a truck pullled out, and the bro inside waved at us, and the gate was opened. No one asked us who we were, I guess because we were all dressed up. Photos from October 2006. You can see the warehouses on Google Earth. To the left is the cemetery, you can see the overhang.
It was sad for me because brother Biegler was one of my MTS instructors. Maria Mapula, wasn't she a dentist at Bethel? I think she worked on my teeth once. The other young people, maybe some on here know how they died. Sad. I am in a sad mood today I guess so I decided to put these up. Maybe someone here has info about some of the younger ones...

Wow, things are happening in Brooklyn, but what is exactly does it all mean? All these changes for legal reasons?
Are they completely separating from the individual congregations?
Very, very, interesting.

by BonaFide ini remember a couple years back i got some emails with illustrations and stories about jehovah.
i googled them, and sure enough, the originals were from "christendom" websites.

I just remembered another sister. She is 73 years old, went to Gilead when she was 21 or 22. Never married. Lived in missionary homes for 40 years, then came back to US to take care of her aging parents. She sends me an email sometimes, still believes all of it.

I remember a couple years back I got some emails with illustrations and stories about Jehovah. I googled them, and sure enough, the originals were from "Christendom" websites. Someone had changed "Lord" to Jehovah. But when I told the car groups in service and I even printed them out from the "Christendom" website, they said it didnt matter, what mattered is that the experiences and illustrations were "encouraging." One of them was the C.O.'s wife. Then I tried telling the C.O. himself. He pretended to be interested, but didn't address it directly, he said, "Yes we need to be careful about those emails." In fact, he used one of them in his talk!!!! (The one about the young man who was mad at his Dad and wanted his convertible, the Dad gave him a Bible instead, years later the son finally opened the Bible - and there were the keys to the convertible. This story is on several Church websites.)
Now suppose I had told the car groups that I loved to read the great illustrations and experiences on a Christendom website!!! Yep, I would be in BIG TROUBLE.
That's another one of the things that got me thinking......
THE POINT IS, PEOPLE, remember when you are trying to talk to your JW family and friends. All you need to do is to say, "I support the Faithful Slave. And this is a really interesting point about the UN and the Society. But I support the Society."
Almost all of the Witnesses I talk to in service and at dinners and WT studies and stuff, they all let the "wall" down and talk about everything and anything, as long as the basic support of the Society is there.
This is how to bring it all crashing down.
In my opinion.

Who here has just let the JW stuff go?. I NEED HELP GUYS!!!!!!!.................
by oompa in....i am so frikkin obsessed about the jw lies and my newfound truths about them, and it is prob driving me crazy or causing depression.....if i wake up in the middle of the night, i never get back to sleep as my mind starts racing about jw crap and how it affects my marriage, and then how can i make this marriage work with her such a hardcore dub....i told my wife i now realize i am an abusive husband.....i must stop talking to her about the real truth!!
!..........it is killing her inside and we have had soooo many bad discussions that turn into arguments......on top of that she says she is now closer to jah and the org than at any other time in her life, that now that she has no positive direction from me, she relies totally on jehovah and prays to him more than ever..... we talked about separation, and that i was going to lose her over our religious differences........i feel so sorry for what i have put her through, and i know that if i can not really shut up with my ohsohelpful comments of truths about this truth she will leave me due to "spiritual endangerment".......and she said she is damm close to that happening.....i told her i knew it to and would so hate to lose her due to our religious differences.
at my recent shepherding call, they said to try and stop focusing on the negatives i have found in jw, and focus on the good things...and that is not a bad idea even if i never go back to meetings....there are good things about dubs....the efforts at ending racism and at least for me, some really good lifelong friends.......even their hope for the future was pretty good to me, even though it is a bunch of crap and i no longer believe the bible is gods word or inspired.....it does have some good suggestions for a happy life and ideas as to how to treat others........but so do just about every holy book of other faiths........ i had plans to start going to some meetings with my wife, but today, after a sleepless night i told her i just dont think i can do it, and just as she strongly believes it is the truth, i do not, and that i think the guys on the gb are not led by holy spirit cause if she will read the proclaimers book, she will see we have never gotten a single bible inerpretation of prophecy correct.......so she says "so what is there?

I am sorry you are going thru such a hard time. What has been working for me is to outwardly state to everyone that I support the Society no matter what. Then I bring up all kinds of wrong teachings, history, blood issue. Everything is cool and allowed unless you say you doubt the Society.

I have a friend who has been in Bethel for 15 years. He is still single and looking for the right girl. He is a really nice guy, he tries to help people in his congregation, the young people, the older ones. He really believes its the truth, like I did, and I feel sorry for him. He thinks if he is patient he will find the beautiful girl he is looking for, or if not, there is always the new system which is so, so close. He is 41 years old now. He still talks to the girls in their early 20's, though most of them don't pay attention to him anymore.
Another couple in Bethel has been there for over 20 years. I have known them since I was a kid. They have no children of course, and are now in their mid-forties. They haven't been asked to leave-yet. They are so "faithful" to the Organization, they really believe it all. And they really try in their congregation to invite the younger ones over to their Bethel room and make burgers for them, and watch a movie. They pick up an older sister for the meeting and help her shop.
And some others I think about sometimes, who made sacrifices in good faith, who were raised as Witnesses, and either didn't get married, didn't have children, never got a good education or employment, who live poor and still pioneer and try to do everything the Society says faithfully. They go to all the weddings and funerals and write letters to friends, and in my opinion, have a good heart towards people. They really believe that God looks at everyone's hearts, and will judge everyone fairly. They believe that Jehovah will undo all the suffering, and that he really cares about everyone.
I feel sorry for them. When I talk to them, or email, they sound the same as i was, trying and trying but hoping things will change soon. Some are really depressed, but they don't know why.
They are all trying to keep it up, for however long it takes. Its sad to visit with them now, we are all older, and no Armageddon yet.
Do you feel sorry for the sincere ones in the Organization who really believe and try hard?
