i haven't posted in a while, so i'm glad to be back.

my husband and i got into another fruitless discussion last night.

it actually turned out to be more of a fight than a discussion.

I haven't posted in a while, so I'm glad to be back. My husband and I got into another fruitless discussion last night. It actually turned out to be more of a fight than a discussion. I tried to CALMLY bring up some of my concerns about Witnesses (failed predictions, lack of true love when you need it most) and it's like he put up a wall. He got so angry with me and told me the programmed Witness crap about "this is the only true religion; no other religion preaches!" I told him that he wouldn't know because JWs are the only religion we've ever been in, and the only information we receive is what the GB wants us to hear. It got pretty ugly. I want to leave the Witnesses, because I no longer believe that they are the only true religion, but as you can tell, this is not going well at all. I risk losing my husband to gain my freedom. It just isn't fair!!

I've always wondered something about the Memorial

i wondered this even when i was a gung-ho jw: .

where in the bible do jws find the format for how the memorial should be celebrated by the "other sheep?

" i just don't see anywhere in the bible where it says that those not partaking should pass bread and wine.

Where in the Bible do JWs find the format for how the Memorial should be celebrated by the "other sheep?" I just don't see anywhere in the Bible where it says that those not partaking should pass bread and wine. And for that matter, I don't see anywhere in the Bible where it mentions any of Jesus' followers NOT partaking. So it's either one of two things:
1.) Either the "other sheep" shouldn't even be there
or
2.) ALL Christians should partake
Am I correct on this?

ok, so here's a little summary.

i have suffered from depression for quite a while, at varying degrees.

several months ago, i made the decision to stop attending meetings (check out my first posts for the reasons).

Ok, so here's a little summary. I have suffered from depression for quite a while, at varying degrees. Several months ago, I made the decision to stop attending meetings (check out my first posts for the reasons). I found that while out of the grips of the congregation, my emotional and mental health improved tremendously. I could think for myself and appreciate people for who they are, not what religion they belong to. Long story short, out of pressure from hubby, I started going back for a little while. I noticed an IMMEDIATE change for the worse!! All of the phobias and obsessions came rushing back. "Is this skirt too short? Do I have enough hours in field service? Will my taste in entertainment stumble anyone" I really believe that being in this org is making me worse! Any thoughts/opinions?

" they were of his experience at a recent district convention and his crazy cousin kept making a scene.

i thought they were hilarious and i was hoping to watch them again, but they are nowhere to be found.
