Job Update - My Drug Screening

so i had to go this morning to do my drug screening for the job i just got hired for.

i didn't go to the bathroom all morning, just so i would have plenty to put in the specimen cup.

So I had to go this morning to do my drug screening for the job I just got hired for. I didn't go to the bathroom all morning, just so I would have plenty to put in the specimen cup. Anyway, I start doing my thing, and I guess I stopped paying attention for a split second, because before I knew it I was peeing all over my hand!!!! I thought I was going to lose it!! Between laughing and gagging, I was really having a hard time of it!!!

Thanks babygirl75!! I'm so relieved because I've been without work for a little while. The economy where I'm at is in the toilet, but it all worked out for the best!!

ok, so i've been out of work for a little while (the economy in my state really sucks!

) and i have been putting in applications from here to the moon it seems like!!

i finally got an interview at the bank where my husband works.

Ok, so I've been out of work for a little while (the economy in my state really sucks!) and I have been putting in applications from here to the moon it seems like!! I finally got an interview at the bank where my husband works. He's sort of high up in the bank, but I didn't want him pulling strings for me, so I had to wait it out to see if I would get an interview based on my own merit. I did (YAY!!) and the interview went GREAT!! They said they should be making their decision by this Wednesday, and by all accounts, it looks like I am going to get the job. It's been rough not working, not necessarily financially, but I'm the kind of person who needs to be useful somehow, so playing housewife is getting old. Not that housewives aren't useful, it's just not my thing. Anyway, keep your fingers crossed that I get it. By the way, I love this site!! "Apostates" aren't the fire-breathing monsters that dubs make them out to be. I guess now that I AM one, I can say that. :)

it's amazing to me how much i've come to life since i've stopped going to meetings and field service and the whole tiresome jw routine.

i find beauty and joy in the simple things.

for example, we never used to sleep in on saturday, because of course that was field service day.

It's amazing to me how much I've come to life since I've stopped going to meetings and field service and the whole tiresome JW routine. I find beauty and joy in the simple things. For example, we never used to sleep in on Saturday, because of course that was field service day. Now, my husband and I routinely sleep late on Saturdays and when we get up, we look out our kitchen window as we slowly sip our coffee. We have REAL conversations about things we are actually interested in!! It's fantastic!! I also appreciate people as being full of potential, not doomed to destruction like I thought before. Life is for living, that's what I say. So to all those who are struggling to find meaning in the non-JW world, it's out there!! Let go of all your preconceived ideas and embrace the beauty that is all around you!!
