Can you think of a positive thing the JW's gave you?
by Greensleeves inthis is something that will possibly piss off a lot of people.
i left the jw family i was raised in when i was 16. i had a lot of angst and just wanted freedom.
i spent some time in my early 20's reconsidering that decision to leave jwdom and came back to the decision i made at 16, but was more logical and informed that time around.

with my legs together comfortably without crossing them. And people that is an Art!LOL!

I remember when it was such a spiritual privelege to handle the mics.I was always jealous of the guys they got to run around and I
had to sit in my seat and pretend I was paying attention.I'd take the mic job, thats just me. You don't even have to make comments on the mics. at
least thats what I remember?! LOL!

Hi everyone! im also a newbie here.
by dhand inhi everyone, thought it was time to say hi after nearly a year lurking on this site!!
abit about me... i was born into the jw's and have been baptised for about 15yrs and was appointed as an ms about a year ago.
i have been a die hard jw for the last few years, but because of the arrogant and unloving attitude of certain 'spirit appointed' men within the cong and circuit i began to wounder if what i had really was 'the truth' and caused me to do some digging on some of the fundamental teachings.

Dating a JW and need some help
by Whizkid ini've been 'going out' with a beautiful girl and we have a great time together.
we have a lot of similar interests and always have stuff to talk/do.
the problem is that she's a jw, and i know there is no way i'm going to become a jw.

Don't step one foot in the Hall! Compare JW's to a cult, look up your info. As a young woman once heres my perspective. It all comes down to this:
If she has a career and can support herself on her own, she's yours or will strongly consider leaving. If she really has nothing she may lean on her family because she will be scared to go out on her own. may sound stupid but its my stupid! LOL!

And then there were nine . . .
by JK666 inthe governing body just keeps on dying off.

The society will just come out and say that the younger generation will start replacing them, just like they did with the memorial
partakers, you know because some of the 144,000 were huge sinners and needed to be replaced! Its 9 too many if you ask me!LOL!

Well I'll start;
1. I would stand up,light a joint and announce that i am "Bad Association"
2. feeling now liberated I would rat on every Elders child (cause who wouldn't)
3.If they haden't escorted me out yet for lighting up my joint..I would profess to unbelievable acts of hiding demonic parafonalia around the hall. And
watch them Freak Out
4. And as I am walking out of the hall or being escorted I would yell the Smurf is following me! did you see it?
