  this past weeks watchtower study, reminds us that jehovah provides guidance in the publications and in programs from faithful slave!

  now you hear from the platform that god has given us jw broadcasting and jw.org.

  lets see: thought wt says they have no special connection to god, nor special knowledge, they get no extra holy spirit, gods thoughts higher than mans???

  This past weeks watchtower study, reminds us that Jehovah provides guidance in the publications and in programs from faithful slave! Now you hear from the platform that God has given us JW Broadcasting and JW.org.

  Lets see: Thought WT says they have no special connection to God, nor special knowledge, they get no extra holy spirit, Gods thoughts higher than mans???

  No mention of Jesus as head, I guess he is to busy to be involved in the publications. Amazing how WT puts the Creator of the Universe on the level of humans.

  I’m sure you see other issues with things in this paragraph.

  Seek Meekness and Please Jehovah

  18 We will make better decisions. When we face difficult choices in life, Jehovah will help us make good decisions​—but only if we are meek. He promises that he will hear “the request of the meek.” (Ps. 10:17) And he will do more than hear our request. The Bible promises: “He will guide the meek in what is right, and he will teach the meek ones his way.” (Ps. 25:9) Jehovah provides that guidance in the Bible and in publications * and through programs produced by “the faithful and discreet slave.” (Matt. 24:45-47) We must do our part by humbly acknowledging that we need help, by studying the material Jehovah supplies, and by submissively applying what we learn.

  Why would Satan give a rats ass about jehovahs witnesses?

  so satan is the ruler of the world and he is hellbent on destroying gods people, why?

  satan controls 99.9 % of the world except for one little obscure religious group that no one pays any attention to.

  Speaking of Putin and the Russian Ban, since Satan gives a rats-ass, did WT give their "bible research" yet on why Jehovah could let something like this happen despite all the prayers and letters?

  Satan only wants JW because we are told that. Making JW believe that they are the only ones put under trial by Satan.

  I (PIMO) asked my wife (pioneer) one day, if we are the only ones "in the world" being persecuted by Satan, what explains this, who are these non-JW's people being persecuted by https://www.persecution.com/about/?? Talking about "deer-n-the-head-lights" look kodiak moment! She simply walked away saying you are always negative.

  is that not our goal has jw’s, to try to sell the truth to those who have the right heart condition to accept it?.

  If you are the spokesman for the Creator of the universe and all that entails, and represents the head of the Christian Congregation Jesus, since their intelligence is higher than ours - that you would get the Creators name right despite "worldly" information!

  Would think the Creator would reveal his true name pronunciation to those speaking for him- he did that for Moses.

  Would think the head of the Congregation Jesus would clear that up when he choose them in 1919, "by the way my dads name is pronounced......"

  in today's wt study, 9th sept 2018, para 14. we learnt that jesus mother, mary, is one of the 144.000 anointed at penticost.

  just another classic, we know more than what is contained in scripture..

  I guess Mary is enjoying her blessings as outlined in the paragraph now!

  Notice how the picture of 144,000 all looks like men!

  Oh wait, does watchtower teach there is neither male nor female with angels, even though every picture of angel is male-looking!!

  So if Mary is given a spiritual body in the appearance of a male as a member of the 144,000, then does she have her female thoughts???

  KH Hall doors to remain locked during meetings?

  my mother in law told us this morning that they read a letter in her cong last night.

  from now on kh doors will be locked after 15 min of meeting start.

  only the fire exit (one way door) will remain unlocked.

  in my congregation they lock the doors and the gate of the main parking lot entry. The second entry (no gate) is blocked by a brother sitting in his car during the meeting. The two attendance rotate during the meeting one inside the other outside. I told the COBE that it is too dangerous (being inner city) to have one brother in the parking lot during mid week meetings (we had a lot of car vandalism over the last few years) he said we need to trust in Jehovah. So I asked to be removed from the attendance list, he said ok.Since I'm no longer attendant, I have no knowledge of any incident since then because we never reported to the congregation to keep the friends aware of whats going on.
  

  I guess I need to step up my game in reliance on Jehovah- huh?

  Facial Hair

  since i have been out for seventeen years what is the currant society policy concerning beards and mustaches.. in the sixties and seventies facial hair was forbidden at bethel if you white.

  if you were black you could have mustache but no beards.

  so obviously you could not be elder or pioneer if you had a beard.. any updates?

  The latest information that I remember is from the Sept 2016 Study article "Does your Style of Dress Glorify God?"

  17 What about the propriety of brothers wearing a beard? The Mosaic Law required men to wear a beard. However, Christians are not under the Mosaic Law, nor are they obliged to observe it. (Lev. 19:27; 21:5; Gal. 3:24, 25) In some cultures, a neatly trimmed beard may be acceptable and respectable, and it may not detract at all from the Kingdom message. In fact, some appointed brothers have beards. Even so, some brothers might decide not to wear a beard. (1 Cor. 8:9, 13; 10:32) In other cultures or localities, beards are not the custom and are not considered acceptable for Christian ministers. In fact, having one may hinder a brother from bringing glory to God by his dress and grooming and his being irreprehensible.—Rom. 15:1-3; 1 Tim. 3:2, 7.

  What is the current pulse in the organization with the reductions?

  i have not seen jehovah’s witnesses in my neighborhood for several years now.

  it appears that the cart witnessing has taken over.

  congregations are being consolidated and witnesses are being forced to travel a greater distance than before.the burdens/privileges of elders seem to be ever increasing!.
