  Great question and discussion. I wonder who is the highest former JW on this discussion, and what is your opinion of whether the higher ups know that they are deceiving people?

  evolutionists are always called on to explain how a complicated organ like an eye could have come about "by chance" - as if any scientist ever claimed that's what happened.

  but there are shelves of books in your library that will explain the process of natural selection, some are written so simply that a child can grasp the basic concept.

  you don't have to accept it but at least an explanation is offered.

  Sorry, but the evolution of a virus does not prove that an animal can evolve from one animal to another. It is still a virus. Changes do happen within species, but there is no evidence of any species changing to another species. Is it possible that evolutionary scientists are so against the idea of the existence of a God that they are blinded to any evidence that points to intelligent design?

  I don't know is not always a bad answer. If I could explain it all, I guess I'd be God. At least when I believe that God created things, I have life bringing forth life, which is a proven scientific fact, since the time of Pastuer. When I see the complexity of something like vision or hearing, or the perfection of the earth spinning through space, I feel that the God of the Bible is the best option we have. I believe that if life could accidently come from non-living matter, then man should be able to duplicate that somehow.
