Defeat and resentment? Na, just being a realist, all is good my friend! Who ever is elected will be MY President. And I can promise you, you will never see from me the infantile hatred Bush had to deal just because he wasn't my guy. If Obama gets in, he will be followed and respected. And besides we have a very resilient country, we can endure a lot! If we can recover after 4 years of Carter, Obama will be ice cream!

All that keep this election from being stolen talk is hilarious! The only proven, on the record groups that ARE trying to steal it are democrats, go figure. Here's what I think. Obama will win, convincingly, the popular vote, due to fact that the people on the receiving end of hand outs outnumber the people paying into the system. But the electoral vote will be very close with Obama squeaking by.

I agree with you Beks, trading practices plays a major role in it, mainly speculators. I'd love to line up those guys and....never mind. And I believe drilling is not the answer, but increasing refining capacity is. And I am huge on alternative power. I laugh each time I see the Texaco commercials claiming they are aggressively pursuing alternative sources! Come on, an oil company trying to get away for oil?!?! Two things I am excited about is wave technology and solar. There is finally in Portugal a power plant that uses the constant kinetic energy from ocean waves to drive the generators and they have full time power on the grid now. And solar, huge! Advancements have been made with "black silicon". What's unique about it is it has the capacity to recognize rays that are not visible on the spectrum, mainly ultraviolet. Long story short, it can charge the cells even on cloudy days! U-V rays penetrate clouds whereas visible rays that have been used can not. Man, I got side-tracked!

hehe Each time I try slide it sounds like I'm killing a small animal! Running through some pinch harmonics, I play through a noise gate filter. It cuts the background noise, then just remember where the sweet spots are. I'm really trying to learn the Dimebag squeals!

Well it looked good on paper! But seriously, it's only fair to present all the facts.

Man, blues slide is tough! You mentioning harmonics though perked my ears up! I've been playing for awhile, but I just got a ESP with a pair of EMG's in it. It's my first experience with active pick-ups that hot. So I've been playing around with false and pinch harmonics. I'm almost at the point of breaking windows!

Avishai, you play? There's not to many to don't play that know about false or pinch harmonics!

And I was talking about Federal Aid to states. I just posted the state counties that received the most Federal Aid. You tried to imply that the "blue" states receive the least amount of aid. That is simply not true as far as dollar amounts go. The latest figures I could find is for fiscal year 2004. In that year, according to the Census Bureau, California received $47,283,000,000 in Federal Aid, next on the list is New York which received $42,576,000,000. The next closest one is Texas at $25,674,000,000. Cali almost doubled theirs! And as far as the R's and D's go, sooner or later people will start to realize, there is very very little that separates the 2 parties.

I love the ending solo in Rough Boy, great tone. Makes me want to get a Gibson Explorer! To heavy though! And I like Sleeping Bag, and Cheap Sunglasses, all good stuff.
