  after almost a year of internet dating on various sites, i've concluded that it's not the place for me to meet the man of my dreams.

  anyway, i'm happy i've given it a shot and i've gained lots of experience and even made a few male friends.

  anyone here who's had better luck?.

  Another one wanted to buy me shoes...could have been nice if he was normal

  One man wrote and asked me five times the same "do you want a massage?"...the last time I told him off quite rude and blocked him

  Official visit from two local elders one fine Sunday morning

  well, it finally happened.

  a week ago sunday my fiancee and i were sitting in the living room drinking coffee and watching the morning talking heads when we heard the crunch of tires on the gravel in the driveaway, about 10:30 or so.

  we looked at each other with that "are you expecting anyone?

  Awsnap: on the sites I've been on you create your own profile, with photo preferably, which mostly contains info such as, age, length, eye color etc then your education degree (optional), hobbies, favourite book, favourite vacation, what you're looking for in a partner and so on...but you'll never know if you have chemistry or not before you meet irl...I've chatted with many guys who I've been thinking could be the one but then felt nothing when I met them...
  Then there are a lot nut cases out there but that's another story
