  How can I counter the isolation scripture?

  well, i talked to some elders and basically said the organization was calling the prophets and god liars, because they were disgarding the importance and relavance of some of the prophecies.

  i told them that there is no true organization on the planet right now.

  i used luke 21: 8, i used many scriptures and actually i qouted chapters, not just verses where it was obvious they were wrong, i counter verses, they didn't get them.

  and thirdly its not hard to make a self-fulfilling prophecy to come true.

  case in point. Suppose I say I'm the messiah and tell you this, and yet right after I say this to you I then tell you that

  very soon after me saying that, others will rise up and ridicule me and cast doubt on my claim.

  Even though it will come true that others will arise and cast doubt on my initial claim of being the messiah thus "proving"

  my second part of my claim, does it hold true that the first part is true as well since the latter did happen?

  You may continue to build towers on planet earth and the moon that circles your world.

  Gladiator if you are ever in the vicinity of the earth sometime stop by and I'll show you the towers I like to build.

  They are usually out of wine/champagne glasses and all filled to the point of overflowing with earths bounty

  that has been allowed to ferment and it is sure to make you feel intoxicatingly wonderful or forget any problems you may

  have even though it be only temporary.

  Well worth the trip to earth especially when in the company of one of earths female denizens.

  Who is this 'God' that you talk of, earthling?

  It would be the the "God" listed at Genesis 11:1-9 Some refer to "him" as Jehovah,Yahweh or just I AM.

  The moon closest to the planet Earth and the space station is currently in orbit around said planet. The planet Earth is

  in orbit around the star named Sol. Right now the space station is called the international space station due to the fact it

  has helped bring nations together in an effort to help all mankind in research and fact finding about our wonderful cosmos.

  awildflower I was setting at my office desk trying to solve all the worlds problems again and then it hit me, how would

  I explain this one to someone that was either athiest or not a believer in the bible.

  Seemed like to me if you going to stop them in the one instance,then why not stop them in the latter instance.

  Then it occured to me what if this question would have been posed to me out in field service years ago.

  I can only imagine how crazy and ridiculous sounding any explanation I gave would have sounded to the person

  at the door that may have not believed in the bible and yet had heard of this incident.

  What Do You Do All Day?

  what do you do all day?.

  a man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard.. the door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog.

  proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess.

  What do they get out of it?

  a couple of weeks ago, i was at an event where there were a lot of bunnies running around; playboy bunnies that is (work related).

  cute girls i guess, but they all have the same boob jobs, same nose jobs, same tans, and no uniqueness among them (ok...maybe one or two of them really stood out).

  most of them literally are reduced, or reduce themselves to t&a.

  noontide you're missing the most obvious answer. They get power out of it.

  Think of what just recently happened with Tiger Woods. All those girls coming forward to say they had sex with him.

  Most of the women/girls I grew up with would have never even given it a thought about going public with it even if

  they woulda been wooed by him, just out of either embarassment or not wanting to bring shame onto their family

  name. But it's a new day and age we live in now.

  These women with Tiger came out in almost unison. Not wanting to be outdone by the other, each was wanting to have

  bragging rights about them being with Tiger.

  It was like how some talk about guys putting another notch in their belt when they "score" with another woman.

  Even if they knew the odds of Tiger leaving his wife for them was virtually non-existent or even zero, that one or more

  days they spent with him allowed them to be pampered with gifts,fine wines and a few evidently got to even go into

  his own home while wife was away. For just a little while they called the shots to a "big time celebrity".

  He gave them power. It was more intoxicating to them than any drink could be, no matter how fleeting that power

  may have been.

  Same situation with what you described earlier. Late teens to early twenty year olds being with some big time

  executives,celebrities maybe or just hanging with what they feel is the "in crowd". It can be quite enticing to them.

  Not all females are this way (thank god or whoever) but I come from a very large family and extended family with lots

  of females and I've seen certain ones exhibit this same mentality/attitude.

  Ever hear that saying that the guy is the head of the family, but the woman is the neck that turns that head?

  Some girls just find this out a lot earlier than others.

  I'll never fall for the fear routine again. Whether it be from man or otherwise.

  Love would be what draws me to God.

  Not fear that he can beat my ass like a bad step-father. Or destroy me or burn me or _______(insert your worst torture)

  You earn respect. You never demand it.

  A good king will earn the respect of his subjects without ever having to resort to violence or intimidation.

  What drew people to Jesus was the love he showed. Not him throwing around his powers and saying follow me or else

  you're toast.

  I can show you a scripture where it say God is Love.

  Can you show me one that says God is fear?

  When someone types LOLOL over and over in their response it usually signals to me that they are at a loss for words
