  i run into 70 yr old jw's working houses, i watch how long they stand at doors with no one answering.

  so i come up and ask you know someone living here?

  You may want to look this up for yourself.
  The WTS can never be a member of the U.N. because it's not actual, physical nation. Only "real nations" can be a member of the U.N. and not so called "spiritual nations".

  Now if you told him that the WTS was part of the NGO's that supported the U.N. that would be more believable,factual and easier to show/prove.

  But all in all, maybe what you said might make one of them search "Watchtower and U.N." on the internet for some informative reading.

  joe I checked the web address you specified above and it keeps giving me an error.

  You may want to double check your link and make sure you copied it correctly and didn't leave any of it out etc..

  Also you should be able to make the link clickable by highlighting it once you paste it on here then clicking on the little "chain" icon above where you type your messages and putting the link in there.

  Tragic Fatal Plane crash at Bagrum base in Afghanistan caught on camera 04/29/2013. Viewer discretion is advised

  this is the full crash that wasn't showed on the news.. they referenced it on national news but didn't show whole clip.. if you already have fear of flying etc.

  you may not wish to view this.. all 7 aboard died.. hard to believe this guy was in the right spot with his car to capture the whole thing.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icfvsql38oc.

  edited to add: forgot to say his camera date was not set for correct date.

  Were any of you in Brooklyn Bethel in 1996 when KISS performed live under the Brooklyn bridge?

  just curious if we have any on here that were in bethel at the time they performed?

  and if so could you see the concert from your area?.

  NoRegrets.....I was always told that AC/DC stood for Anti-Christ/Devils Children by both witnesses and other "christians" around my area.

  But in either case its funny how any band that used acronyms or abbreviations of some sort would get something relating to evil,wickedness or unrighteousness attributed to their name by some religious element out there.

  And the bands/groups didn't really mind this because it was like free publicity for them and kept their name in the news.

  I'm really surprised that the WT (JW's) didn't use this concert with KISS "right outside headquarters", as a way to spin that Satan used some of his "Knights" in 1996 to try and turn the brothers from being loyal,obedient,faithful (read mind controlled) followers of Jah. (WTBTS)

  I'm sure they could have even found a scripture to twist to say it was even foretold in advance that Satan would send in his Elite to try and lure the brothers/sisters away. haha

  okay we've all beat our chest, lamented and throttled the dead horse of aawa.. time to move on!.

  i suggest those of us on j-w.n who care about creating something the right way take the trouble to get the framework going.. let's do the grunt work and get the nattering, debates, naming and organizing already pre-approved so that "others" who have the talent, ability, motivation and resources can move in and turn the key!.

  because it was not done before.. there is more wisdom on this discussion board in our vast numbers than there could possibly be in a virtual boardroom with 8 people brain-storming.. that isn't an insult--it is just a statistical fact!.

  I liked the acronym that was on another thread W.A.R.N. (Watchtower Abuse Recovery network)

  It's straight to the point that we want to warn others about whats going on that they may not be aware of until its too late.

  Also the recovery part of it sounds good to me also.

  Who doesn't want to recover from something?

  Edited to add: And as far as tee-shirts with slogans or such on them....imagine a tee-shirt with W.A.R.N. in big letters. It would get my attention because I'd be thinking what are they warning against?
