You could always spray paint the book blue and then insert some apostate leaflets into it.
That way if they returned and wanted it back you could tell them it changed/evolved and that they may want to look into it and see what it's trying to tell them.

What Do I Do With This RED Book?
by Cold Steel insome guys visited me a couple of times, and i asked them about the book of revelation.
one of them brought me a red book with a lot of illustrations and at the end of every page or so the guy had dated the day he had read it.
he also marked certain passages.

The Village
Shawshank Redemption (mainly ex-jW's will get the references in this film but to the right JW its possible to see some correlation)
And just a few days ago I watched "Religulous" A documentary film dealing with many types of religion, hosted and narrated by Bill Maher.
Even though it doesn't mention JW's, the part near the end about Mormons is eerily similar to WT Org.
Notice the ex-Mormons for example and how they are treated. -

But as I suspect many realise I have never really fit in here.
I think this is the crux of the problem. He may have issues about making friends etc.
And the world can be a lonely place for those without enough support away from the WT Org.Remember how the Org likes to use the phrase "where else will you go?"
After they have held you in for so long its almost like they taunt you by saying that.
I cannot speak for him since I do not know all about his family life as well as how long he spent in the WT Org but I can say that since I've been away from the BORG my family life has never been happier.
I left with my family intact but understand that many haven't been as fortunate in that aspect. One thing I do know is that once you've peered behind the curtain (Wizard of Oz reference) and seen that its not a wizard at all calling the shots, only an old man filled with his own errors, problems and inflated ego of himself you can never truly believe in him ever again.
Same way with the GB of JW's. Once you've seen that they are merely men, claiming to speak for God but failing in so many ways and getting so many things wrong, you can never truly have the " faith "in them that you once had.
Things seen cannot be unseen, no matter how much we may wish it to be so.
Anyways in closing I wish you all the best Slim but in my heart I feel you will be back, even if its under another screen name.
It is hard for me to believe that anyone with as many post as you had (8000+) and been here since 2004 wil not at least stop by and read even if they don't post anymore.I will leave you with one scripture that the WT always loved to use on others 2 Peter 2:22
"The saying of the true proverb has happened to them:"The dog has returned to its own vomit, and the sow that was bathed to rolling in the mire."P.S. Even though its rare it does happen from time to time that some do return to the WT for whatever reason.
Remember Gumby that knew most of it was BS but returned for his wife and family. Each one has to carry their own load so if they can stomach it for sake of family or friends then more power to them. Maybe one day they will return here with their whole family intact. -

braincleaned (Vince),
Now that we are aware of your artistic talent as well as your real identity, any chance that you are going to change your avatar on here to either a real pic of yourself or an awesome cartoonish brain being cleaned....to fit in with your handle/title on here.
That would be kinda neat to have one of your original images on here as your namesake. :)

Vincent I applaude and admire your decision to "take the mask off".
I can only imagine how liberating and exhilarating that must feel.
I checked out your bibiography on wikipedia and thats quite a list of work and accomplishments.
My nephews and nieces would relate mostly to your work on SpongeBob Squarepants where as my son and I are impressed with the DC comics and Scooby Doo aspects.
Keep up the great art work, animations and comics and so glad to see that you are using your talents in helping others to see the WT for what it is.
With much respect,

integ,
Generally people put "marking" on a thread so it shows up on their list of topics posted to so that they can find it easier for later reference.
Maybe they don't currently have time to view the whole thread or a video or such.
So they can come back at a later time to look over the whole thing at their convenience that way.
Oh and BTW I really enjoyed the cartoon.
Hope whoever is responsible for making it does many more in the future. :) -

Do you think with the release of the new NWT that there has been or will be a large cash infusion into the WT Society?
by StoneWall inwith the bad economoic conditions that many are suffering through right now, it got me thinking about how it may/might affect the contributions/donations to the worldwide work.. do you feel most will be inclined to offer less monetarily at this time for their "new bibles" than say if it had been released a few years earlier?.
or do you think most will offer even more in the hopes that jah will bless their efforts?.
has anyone heard yet of a "suggested donation" amount that is being circulated around the k-halls as with all other publications etc.?.

I'm really curious what is the "going rate" or what they think their translation is worth.

4 Letters from the Branch read tonight, no warning from this site
by James Jackson intonight at our meeting we had 4 letters from "the branch" read at our meeting.
i was caught off guard since we usually have an advance warning when these letters are going to be read.
is the watchtower getting better at hiding these letters?.

James you are behind times buddy..
Each one of those has already been discussed on this very same forum because I read about them.
I'm too lazy right now to search for all of them but here is one thread from over a day ago talking about the 16 International Conventions.
Click on the link and you can read the thread.
Edited to add: Here is the link as well to the Pioneer school adjustments
So theres two of your 4 that you listed....the others are here somewhere as well.
