I am so looking forward to seeing it. Many friends of mine went to see it over the weekend and all of them said it was a must see movie. Just the fact that I love hero movies (X-Men,Iron Man, Spider-Man, Daredevil etc..) has me anxious to see this one. Evidently from the news tonight it has already set the boxoffice records in opening weekend. I was kinda waiting a bit for the lines to die down before going to see it but the theatre has been packed here at every show. But hoping to get it in this week tho.

What was your favorite cartoon that you was allowed to watch growin up JW ?
by StoneWall inhands down my all-time favorite was the flintstones.
it's just so hard for me to compare anything else to its humor, cleanliness, appeal to young as well as older ones at the time.. .
no matter how bad a mood i would be in after school i could always count on fred and barney to screw something up to make me feel better lol.

OMG keyser that brought back so many memories.
Holding my ribs from laughing so hard at "Wonder twins power activate".

Very nice clip Nathan
Helps us to see that true friendships can last a lifetime as long as they are built on trust and confidence in each other. Even when relating to human-animal relationships.

how many wanted to just run away?...disappear?....after....
by oompa in....waking up to the real truth about the truth?......when it first really hit me like a shovel in the face.....i actually said to the co i would have to leave my wife and son (not hers)) and he is now 20 (not the co..my son), and i said it because i knew i would now never measure up to the "spiritual head" model.
cause i knew it was all bs...but have not really ran away yet....at least not for more than a week at a time.........doing better actually.......but did you want to at least move or something?
?...........oompa

I agree with flipper...just leave me alone is what i wanted the self-righteous ones to do. I'm not much into running....and thats what I guess keeps getting me into trouble..So needless to say I'm on everyones watch to see what happens next list around here.
Oh well take each day as it comes and sometines grab the bull by the horns instead of running from the bullcrap

Thanks to each and everyone of you
by StoneWall inafter many months of lurking and researching on oh so many different topics, doubts, concerns, and viewpoints i decided to get my feet wet and start posting.
many times i wished to contribute something to a thread but was to apprehensive to get an account.
then as time passed and i read many more of the post from various members the uneasiness subsided somewhat and my desire to proceed into previously uncharted waters grew.

Missinglink- In answer to some of your questions...My wife started going to meetings and studying after we met....she loved what she was learning at the time..We got married while she was studying...had a son little over a year after marriage...a little while after she got baptized....We only had the one child and he was raised in.
He is now 18 and never got baptized and as a matter of fact started posting on here the same day that I did. I told him what I was up to and he was like well I'll join too. His handle on here is kakarok so if you see him you will kinda know the story. He is a big gamer so spends lot of time online with that with some of his friends and family.
As far as most of the rest of my JW family members, most are still trying to figure out what is going on in my life as of right now me and wife's status is inactive. I have some of the ones like everyone else that have already put me on their marked list and haven't had much to do with me for a while, but to be totally honest I haven't lost any sleep over it. It's been over a year now since we stopped attending meetings. Then there is some that give me the impression that if they could throw me in the electric chair for daring to ask questions or having doubts that they would do it. But from what I read on here many others are going through similar things and trying circumstances.
And to each of them they have my best wishes for I know it is sometimes so hard to deal with all the quirks and problems that certain ones in our families can cause for us.
Well I guess that is enough for now. My son just looked at this post and said what you doing dad writing a book (LOL)
Till next time
