I thought overall was fairly well done. I can tell you put some time and effort into it. Just a couple quick questions..in the video it says Michael Jackson donated 40 million dollars to the society. Is there any record of that?
Also a figure of 12 million for settling the lawsuits for the child abuse(molestation) cases. Since there was supposedly a gag order issued on the court settlement where is this figure supported with facts? Or is it a presumed amount? Just asking so I can have the story straight.

Can someone scan pages 170-171 Learn from the Great Teacher book (2003)
by StoneWall inread these pages earlier and was curious whats everyones opinion on them.
do you feel the society went far enough in their descriptions of what a child is to do if someone tries to touch their private parts?
if not what do you feel is lacking or could improve on what is stated on these two pages.. .

Considering this book is slated towards the younger crowd, it seemed to me in this instance I would be hard pressed to choose better words than what is there to express to children what is acceptable and unacceptable behavoir as regards their body and others.
If someone can scan it would like to see others responses to it...if it has already been done in the past on here could someone post a link to the thread.

YES It's to late to appease your boyfriend! Tell the jerk if he ever needs to have someone to deny God and bow down to his wishes to take a hike and grow up.
This sure smacks of one of those hit and run episodes.
Its sorta like when someone ask you what would you do if you knew the world would end tomorrow and you tell them you would throw the biggest party you ever have today/tonight and enjoy whatever time is left, then they get mad at you cause it wasn't what they wanted to hear. They wanted to hear that you would run in panic and cry and be all scared out of your mind.

Nice to have you with us.Unlike you I did buy into. I was raised in and dunked as a teenager. I so wish I'd had the benefit of the internet when I was young. I've always like researching and investigating things but was limited on the books at the time at my disposal.
So long story short was hard to argue or disprove everything I was learning about the "truth" and anything that was critical about it was just some lie or twisted words that apostates were using to discredit or make God's "earthly organization" look bad (or so I was led to believe).
Anyhow look forward to hearing more from you.

Oh man and the video has to start off deep in the woods of North Carolina...and we have plenty of deep woods....think of how many years Eric Robert Rudolph eluded the FBI and all those taskforces set up to find him after they said he bombed the abortion clinic in Alabama and the Olmpic park site in Atlanta.

Maybe I can help enlighten you a bit...a few of us want these older publications so we can show our believing family members how many times the society has recanted something it said earlier or completely taught something totally different from what it teaches today.
If you only knew how many of my family have said stuff like the society never taught this or that. I just smile and grab a older publication and say something like will you read this to me and explain why you feel they didn't teach this?
A good case in point is to take a older Awake magazine (pre-1995) and turn to the front and show them were it says in the purpose of why the Awake is published. Last sentence of why Awake is published. Here is the quote.
Awake January 8,1991 Quote: "Most important, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away."
Notice how it says Creators promise. You think when something turns out to be the words of man and not the Creators that he is happy with it?
In the newest Awakes it drops the generation of 1914 or any mention of generation but instead says the Creators promise that is about to replace the present wicked, lawless system of things. -

Who said anything about me going to the hall? I said in a discussion I had with a brother. He came by my house about 2 months ago.
I haven't been to the KH in over a year. I told him I didn't like how some in the hall judged people on how many hours of field circus (service) they turned in.
If they turned in low hours to no hours at all that they usually were judged as not good association or spiritually weak even without even knowing their circumstances. Well just thought I'd answer your question here. Don't want to hi-jack this thread.

The one that bout got me in trouble a while back is field circus. I meant to say field service to a brother in our discussion and accidently said field circus.
It just rolled off my tongue like it was always like that. The brother just laughed and thought it was a slip of the tongue. I was thinking oh if he only knew where I heard that one heehee.
