if you had to choose between wearing a magic dog collar that would allow you to live forever, or dying a natural death and perhaps having a hope of resurrection, what would you choose?.
here is the story.
please humor me and read before answering.. suppose you were told that all disease is caused by an electromagnetic imbalance.
Didn't I see this in an episode of Star Trek????????
HA!

so how are things going for you folks ?
times are tough economically for sure for lots of people.
things going well for you otherwise in your life ?
I want to save more critters(I found FIVE new homes in December!!!) With the economic woes, animals have been getting dumped in the streets, shelters etc.
Of course the weight thing is ALWAYS there so I'm settling for getting more active and eating better......(damned Necco wafers)
I'm very blessed to be in a secure profession. I want to continue to progress in this professional world of mine.
And life could ALWAYS be worse!!!!!! It's not so bad now.......
And as always to spend more time with my parents and friends!!!!!!!!
A Happy and Blessed New Year to the Flipper residence!!!
i'm not what you would call a dog person.
of course, it's true that, next to the television's remote control, dog is man's best friend.
perhaps my justified ambivalence toward poochicus biteyourbuttabit is due to too many an untoward encounter with the snarling, hydrophobic malevolence of a fido, a rover, a rin tin tin, intent on my evisceration.
CoCo?
THEY have us trained....they just let us think that we've trained them(dogs).....and as for cats? They have staff!!!!!!
Mandette of the many furkids......

i know in all my years...45 in the trut..uhh...make that...cult..........i can only think of one time i ever gave $$ to someone in need....a friend who and no insurance and had a bad accident.........and i really don't remember anytime a person or family was so desperate there was talk about it or an announcement made to help them.
in today's economy with zillions of bankruptcies and foreclosures...esp due to medical problems and no insurance, there must be lots of dubs in need.
so how much financial help have you seen given?
Many years ago when I was a kid, I remember the rich elder in our congregation buying shoes for the kids of a family that was extremely poor. I have a vague memory of their house which was little more than a shack. I don't remember any other help for them. It may have happened but I don't remember it.
Since then? Nada.....zilch.....nothing........

so i started this thread on another board too.
we have a sizeable number of people - men and women not in a relationship perhaps here.
ladies - what is it that you want in a relationship emotionally, mentally, sexually, and materially ?
Talley....
That's it!!!!! EMPATHY!!!! And love for nature. How a man treats the most vunerable creatures on this earth is a direct indication of his character. How very lucky you are!!!!!!
So Mr Flipper here's my list....empathy, love for nature, strong(I'm a strong woman...I can't stand wimps), honesty, loyalty, ethics in both personal and professional dealings.........and of course the ability and WILLINGNESS to be affectionate.....oh and acting classy in public helps!!!
