Proud JW.ORG Photos everyone needs to see! The Watchtower Sanctified the Internet for Preaching!
by Trailer Park Pioneer ini am proud to be a jehovah's witness in the last days, what religion has done this much to proclaim the message about the organization?
other religions are preaching about jesus, some wear the crucifixion, other's wear shirts with fishes but we wear shirts with jw.org!
no other religion has our courage!.

Were you or someone you know sexually molested by a Jehovah's Witness ?
by flipper indue to the fact there are about 27,000 members of this religion that are known pedophiles, and the information about it is kept in a secret database file, i wonder how many lurking jw's as well as others are aware of the severity of this problem?
remember, it's 27,000 pedophiles that they know about.
what about the thousands that don't get caught?

A question for Athiests.
by new hope and happiness ini am now an athiest myself, but i think being an athiest its a bit like having a faith.
some get very hooked on it and "preash" others (like me) simply get with with there lifes.
i am sure that some athiests like to have discussions about the non existence of " god" in a similar way that "thisists" do about the existence of god.

My journey to non-belief has been filled with research and lots of thought. Religion and God are not logical. I'm a logical person. I do allow there MAY be some higher consciousness out there. Even IF there is we are just not that important to merit it's attention. IF there really is a "God", he's impotent, uncaring or at worse a mean little kid on an anthill with a magnifying glass.
I don't "preach" at people about being agnostic/atheist. However if you throw your faith in my face, I will reply. When someone tells me that a horrible car accident was "God's Will" I tend to throw up in my mouth.
Just my very worthless .02.

What did you do with old WT/Awake magazines?
by naazira inwhen you were a witness, what did you do with your old watchtower (public/ study versions) and awake magazines?
i know for some throwing away a magazine is comparable to burning a quran.
i never threw them out!

Must be why I got a knock on the door today about a "worldwide campaign". I handed back the "tract" she was trying to stuff under my door. She asked, "You don't want it, it's a worldwide campaign.". I said no, we don't.
She had the deer in the headlight look. I think she recognized me. Silly, misguided, brainwashed fool.(her not me.....HA!)
And it's 9:24pm EST. No shaking here....yet.

Oh geez...."We Thank You, Jehovah". Mixed emotions. Singing next to my dad(who I miss so much). But my stomach knots up when the other memories come flooding back.
AND SHOCKING!!!!! "Wordly" music in a kingdom hall? They really must be desperate.
I couldn't make it through the whole vid. I don't like nausea for an afternoon snack.

If a Nuclear War Was to Start would you start praying again
by cassuk11 ini would be interested to know if the announcement came of an immenent nuclear war would you start praying or get drunk etc etc..

"God" has already failed the world. So if a nuclear war started, I'd look at my options for survival. Try or just have a "blast" till it all goes out in a blast of white heat.
No sense in praying. There's no "one" to hear.
Although if I chose to maybe it'd be to Bastet. She's a very interesting Egyptian god.

I'm afraid I'd be single for life
by ohnightdivine inthis is quite embarrassing for me to share, but as a 30+ year old single female i have lingering doubts as to whether i can still meet a decent man and get married.. you all know how difficult it is for sisters to find an appropriate partner in the congregation.. and now, all the more so that i've learned ttatt.
i still am bound by low self-esteem, and i do have trust issues, especially with men.
i am very lonely and so i just keep myself busy with work to avoid depression (although it is also a great source of stress).. any other single females out there having similar thoughts?.
