Thank You for your honest answers especially to Britboy and Puffsrule for relating those very personal experiences, I am sorry for what happened to you both (and your mom puffs). This is very sad I thought that from a human stand point they could probably not help but get a bit of a thrill, but to actually dig for the information, make people feel guilty for their human errors and then use that information for their own sick pleasure that is just too much.

Do JC facts turn the elders on?
by hungry4life ini hope this doesn't sound to insensitive but even when iwas an active dub i wondered how the elders could listen to peoples sexual scenarios without getting at least a bit of a thrill.
i'm a bit of a voyuer at heart so maybe i am making the wrong assumption but it seems to me to be human nature.
i have never been called before a judicial committee but i have talked to others who have and they are often pressed for lots of detail.

Thanks Gopher, I realize that the holy spirit wasn't involved but thought that might be one of the ways they reason on it. It's so interesting that the bible says not to judge and yet they form judicial commitees. I don't recall it saying let only the elders judge.

Where, when, how many times what positions? oral? anal? vaginal? masturbation etc. So what's the scoop does the Holy Spirit keep you from feeling anything improper? am I a perv? or is this somewhat typical. (I am a woman I can only imagine it would be worse for guys) but please set the record straight.

I have never had a sexual experience with another woman (in real life that is). But after being hit on by a beautiful blond a few years ago, I think about it alot (I declined but have regretted it ever since). Women are so beautiful and I love looking at pics I have to admit it turns me on. The sad thing is my boyfriend is not into porn at all. Then again I love men too, I don't see myself ever having a serious relationship with a woman but a friendly fling, well you never know.

Ray Franz wrote back!
by hungry4life inmy friend just called.
she is very excited she just received a reply to her letter to ray franz.
she said that it is about six pages long and not a form letter but a personal correspondance regarding the issues and concerns she had written him about.

TheWiz, their was no accusation I merely stated the facts that my friend shared with me. If the WTBTS writes back I will post about that too. I have to admit I feel that if they do not respond it does stand in sharp contrast,( a huge organization of healthy young volunteers does not respond but a 79 year old man writes back a 6 page letter). If you still feel that this comparison is illegitimate please explain. I try to be fair in all of my postings ( of course my personal biases do show through, but then they are personal posts about our own opinions). But if you read through my previous posts I do not make a habit of malicious slander, put downs or unfair accusations. Please write back I will keep an open mind. Also if you don't mind sharing how did he ruin your life?

The timewaster's guide to field service
by RunningMan inlast week, i posted evidence of the monumental inefficiency of the field service work.
you might be wondering how it is possible for people to put in so many hours, and produce so few results.
well, the answer is really quite simple.

We used to leave tracts at phone booths and I knew every single laundromat (including private ones in apartments) in town. Many times when we stopped their would already be magazines there. We would swap them for a fresh copy hoping to arouse interest in a different article, count the placement and our time. The sad thing is I learned all of these tricks from far more experienced witnesses including pioneer sisters. Always thought it was cheating in a way. Now I see it as pathetically delusional, who were we trying to kid anyway?

Okay Fess Up: What's Your Handle Mean?
by Mindchild inokay fess up: whats your handle mean?.
my handle: mindchild comes from computer scientist and futurist dr. hans moravec: who wrote the book, the future of robot and human intelligence which is a book about when we will be able to construct machines capable of human intelligence and raises the possibility of uploading ourselves (every thought we ever had) into an android body much superior to the human ones we have now.
i entertain the hope that not only will i live long enough to see this happen, i will transfer myself (the complete essence of what is me) into a body of my own choosing and become immortal if i so choose.

I guess hungry 4 life speaks for itself.
When I first came to this board I was hungering for truth, acceptance, a place to vent, understanding , personal growth. I wanted to get to know other people and their rainbow of opinions.I was hungering for strength, experience and freedom. Thanks to all of you for all of this and more. Is it time to change my name? I have thought about it, but then again it's important to stay hungry.
Someone once quoted a poem for me on this board that contained the phrase hungry for life but I don't remember which thread it was on. If anyone remembers I would love to add it to my signature. -

Some Fairy Tales Come True
by Skeptic ini am missing windrider and decided to write this.. sometimes people wonder if a fairy tale can come true.
sometimes you give up one soulmate to only to find a better one later.. many years ago, i had met my soulmate.
a wonderful woman who wanted to spend the rest of her life with me.

That is so sweet. What a special lady your windrider must be. Your story is inspirational, I too am a practical person who beleives that fantasies are just that and we can not really hope to find that perfect soulmate. Many times I have considered settling for a wonderful man who treats me well but lacks that special connection, and have always decided against it. Then wondered if I was being overly picky. Thank you for your inspiring story that true love can come true. And waiting for a soul mate is not selfish.
