Ah, yes, our atmosphere right now is 78% Nitrogen. But just imagine how much more will be pumped into our air when all those billions of icky people disintegrate at Armageddon! Jahboy better get hopping on that resurrection, cause we won't have hardly any oxygen to breathe until he does.

Question - Could humans breath (survive) in at
atmosphere containing pure oxigen?
Yes they could...for a while and then they would begin suffering from oxygen
toxicity which causes a number of serious problems not the least which are
some pretty serious neurological damage. -

Bro. Alford's talk "The Wonders of Creation" at Cedar Point assembly September 1919, according to the Sandusky Register:
[Talking about the Flood]
" A whole earth full of exuberant life was destroyed, both animal and vegetable, also millions, doubtless, of the human race. This is evidenced by the present atmosphere surrounding the earth. Scientists tell us that 77% of the atmosphere is nitrogen, an inert gas which undergoes no change when it is breathed by animal and plant life. This, we are informed by those who have made it a study, is a gas composed of organic substances decomposed and changed to gaseous form, in other words, the element called nitrogen is the direct result of decomposition of organic matter at the time of the flood." [italics mine]
[Gross, I'm breathing dead people...] WAIT THERE'S MORE.....
"The wonderful economy of God is evidenced by the fact that when the resurrection takes place, and “all those that are in their graves shall come forth” by the end of the thousand years of the Millenuim, all the nitrogen will have been used from the air for the creation of the 20 billions of human bodies, and for the enriching of the soil of the earth, so that the restored human race will find the atmosphere composed of oxygen and carbon dioxide, the oxygen for the human race and the animals and the carbon dioxide for the plant life."
So yeah, I guess we're all gonna breathe pure oxygen in the new system....

Trying to leave the Witnesses is like trying to leave the Mafia = Death!
by Witness 007 inif you try to leave the mafia in italy they will hunt you down and kill you, there is no way you can quit and just walk away, you need to go into hiding always looking over your shoulder.
it's the same with witnesses, you can't just quit, you need to be disfellowshiped and punished....and you'll always be worried looking over your shoulder even if you go into hiding.

Oh so true! In fact, that's what I yelled (at the top of my voice) to the elders when they disfellowshipped me! It's a wonder they ever reinstated me.

1985 I believe. I honestly don't remember their names. I enjoyed it at the time- it was always nice to do something different. Every single person there cried in front of us all at least once. That was cool.

"NO EVIDENCE" for God, and creation? Maybe there is . .
by hooberus inatheists (however one defines the term) frequently use the term "no evidence" in relation to the existence of god, any type of creation, (especially genesis creation and flood), or most any other theistic claim.
they almost always however claim that their beliefs are "backed by evidence" ; "overwhelming evidence" etc, etc, etc, etc, repeat, etc, repeat, etc.. (their beliefs generally tend to include whatever is necessary to believe in to intellectually "explain" the world without needing god).
is there really "no evidence" for god, and creation?

Will you reply to this topic or just read it?
by compound complex insome topics generate hundreds of reads but few replies.
others, well ... i'm not one for scientific studies.
nor why one thing works and another will not, despite the time and effort put into it (whatever the thing/endeavor happens to be).. kindly inform me if you, in passing by and, having nothing better to do of a saturday eve, happen to see this post but have no intention of responding.. perhaps this is rocket science after all.. thank you for reading though finding no necessity to reply .... "they stayed away in droves.".

Hey, i'm No Cal, too! What happened to our indian summer? Usually it's hot this time of year. I shouldn't complain tho, yesterday planes were flying so low over my house- I called the police and was told there was a fire right behind us. Contained, thankfully.
Now what was I supposed to answer again?

Big JW mutiny in the Vancouver BC area!!
by 1914BS inwell this year'a assembly is over and the dubs in the vancouver bc area are mad at the gb.
about 100.000 dubs had to travel all the way to kamloops bc about a 300 mile drive one way!!.
i have heard that that each dub had to shell out $500 bucks and more for food and lodging just to hear some druel about scolio.

Well, I don't know why they're complaining- Kamloops is the most awesome DA site ever! It's nice and small so attendants don't act like jerks, the hall is across the street from the most beautiful park along the river where you can sit on a blanket under an amazingly huge tree and enjoy lunch watching your kids playing in the fountains. My family drove over a thousand miles to get there- just to avoid the overcrowded and ugly Cow Palace where you're trapped like an animal with no place to hide.

Excellent post. I especially loved the citations from the NRNWT lol! It looks like the one from Laurence Hughes is very fresh- what can we do to help him?
