one of the board members, joseph franklin rutherford, was a lawyer who was active in politics before coming into the truth.

before pastor russells death, the pastor had dismissed rutherford from bethel and provided him funds for a new start in california.

j. edgar hoover was in charge for like 50 years and he investigated everyone.

what was his thoughts about the watchtower did he consider them a threat?.

i started to think today what about all the people who lived or live in rural areas are they abandoned to god becuase they happen to be born in a location that does not have a church or a place of worship?.

also if you are born in a muslim country your chances of being a muslim is about 100 percent and if your born in india you chances that you will be hindu and so on.

i think these places of worship are basically all placed to learn doctrines of man and are all corrupted in one way or another or one extreme to another!.

let me know thru your studies who do you think the king of the north is?.

russia or china i'm guessing but that would be a logical choice.. this is my opinion but i think with the united states getting involved in territories that are under control of russia and china is reaching a boiling point and eventually somone is gonna say i have had it i'm not taking this anymore.. i read this also that in a chinese proverb they have a sayin "kill the chicken to frighten the monkey" the chinese beleive the attack on iraq was the chicken and they are the monkey.. now i'm hearing they are or may blockade iran.

if this happens it could be the final straw but maybe not but i think very soon we will see the knig of the north rise up in defiance to the united states.. let me know what you think please!.

my eyes really started to open up when i discovered we were not studying the bible but witchtower literature.

so 99 percent of what you study is man made material uninspired by jehovah.the only time the bible is referred to is to support the literature.

they offer free bible studies but once again your not studying the bible your studying witchtower literature so in reality they should say would you like to study our witchtower literature and refer to the bible ever now and again.

607bce or 586/587 bce ? which is it?

ok this is very difficult for me because i just started studing this question.

what i would like to know is what have you decided from your studies and does anyone know the statistics on how many beleive in the 607 dat and how many beleive in the 586/587 date.. the watchtower likes to say they agree with the 607 because that number is based on the bible when the 586/587 is based on secular history.. from what ive read so far the mojority thinks it to be 586/587 because most searches ive done give me that date.. what have you come up with in your research?

i feel like you almost need to be a scholar to figure this out.

remember when you could get them in the mail it was so convenient but for some reason they stopped.

so i can't remember the explanation or anything but i'm sure it was nolonger profitable for them.

i guess they found out if you flood the market with literature like any spammer you only get minor results and why spend your own money when you have some fool in his car drive over ther and deliver it!
