When Jesus said "this generation" he was referring to the human beings known as homosapiens. And yes, we will overlap the new generation which will be the transhumans.

if not, let me know.. i've emailed my aunt about the new generation change, just to see her reaction to it and what her mindset is.
i tried to keep it simple and not attack her personally as she has a heart of gold and has been a jw 40+ years.

Halloween stuff already out in stores!
by cameo-d injust for the record, today is july 17. two days ago i was in a store and they already have tons of new halloween costumes and all kind of witchy paraphenelia out on the shelves.. why are they pushing this stuff so early?.
are you seeing halloween stuff displayed right now in your area?
what do you make of it?.

I guess apostate JWs will be the only ones keeping those candy factories in business.
I think the rest of us are burned out on it after so many years.
I am beginning to think that maybe JWs were held back from holidays just so that they would create a new market for mfgs. when things started getting slack.
Really, though, what I don't understand is that with the economy so bad, why people would spend what little they have on foolishness.

If a bunch of wars about to happen were DETAILED in the bible.......
by EndofMysteries inif in the bible you found and saw a series of wars, which nations against which, what the outcome would be, including a world war, and many other things, even perhaps some natural disasters hitting certain parts of certain countries, would you perhaps think twice about if the bible is inspired or not?
especially if was shown all of this prior to it starting.

EoM, you say "the fog is lifting"? That is what Revelation is all about. Things that will become clear and be revealed. What's that scripture about "right now we see through a dark mirror"? That was in the day of the disciples. The mirror is being shattered! Jesus rent the veil of the temple once already. He exposed the lies and the manipulation. But the empire still did not fall. Wickedness had not come to it's full fruition at that time. That's why he said the "figs were not ripe yet".
Yes, there are many mysteries being made clear to those who search. And those who do not understand or who would try to make you doubt what your instincts tell you, will make fun.
