Audio: Witnesses reaction to their private Watchtower being called "Koolaid Edition"
by kurtbethel inhere is an audio clip from a study where the witnesses are handing out a watchtower and awake, and promoting their benefit.
then the householder asks about the "koolaid edition".
one of the acts surprised and the other one quickly goes into damage control mode trying to explain the term.. very funny, sweet beverage indeed!.

Agonus: "Darth, you seriously didn't know about this? A couple years back, 2007 I think. They're called "Public" and "Study" editions. Check out jw.org. Yes, they're available online now. I can't figure it out either."
Agonus, Darth....that distinction of two separate publications with specific designations is the mark of a secret society. One is for the "initiates" as evidenced by being inviting and general in its content.
The "members only" implies the Society harbors a selective group and has "requirements" (rules, regulations, statutes, codes of compliance) in order to attain that certain status.
That designation of Membership is not based on regular attendance or nor voluntary adherence to dogma. Membership is based on transferrring your Power of Attorney to them through your baptismal questions.
Also, I have seen "members" denied the "member magazines" because of gossip and rumors ("marking" I guess) that they are not considered to be in good standing because of any number of reasons, ie. falling off in meeting attendance, field work, etc.

Do you think it is just awarded for good behavior or does it have to be earned? (and how?)
What do you think will be the duties of the 144k?
What do you think will be the priveliges of the 144k?
Do you think the 144k have already been chosen or is it still in the process?
What are/will be their responsibilities?
Notice I am asking for your own ideas, not WT rhetoric!

Jehovah Hurls Fireball
Apparently the big day is being heralded as Jehovah hurls a fireball to alert everyone.
In a special interview, a representative known as "god's mouthpiece on earth" relates a rumor he heard that Jehovah intended the initial fireball to illuminate the Brooklyn area so the world would take note that they are god's special people.
But in a secret interview with station KRAP, Michael Jahacques Mishaushaw, says "God's mouthpiece Organization has not been accurately reporting for some time now. Actually, not ever." Michael also says the fireball was intended to show Brooklyn, the self proclaimed mouthpiece, that when you play with fire you are gonna get burned."
Michael Jahacques Mishaushaw also said to remind the ex-JWs that when you shine a light in the corner, the cockroaches will run, and to say that they have been doing a good job with exemplyfing how bright the light is going to get!
Jehovah also wants to assure his fans that there will be no more delay. He promises not to miss next time and says that he's just getting warmed up because he's a little rusty and has been out of practice with the theatrics for awhile.
Michael also says that no one can know the day or hour because Jehovah is on Tico Time.
(don't know why my youtubes are not embedding. Can someone PM me why? Can someone post the show, please?)

Someone needs to corner him and ask for a definition.
Get an explanation for it and get it on tape.

Are there any subjects in particular you would want to explore before it goes down? Maybe instructions on a DIY project? New recipes? Hobby tips? Things you thought there would always be time for, but find now that the subjects will be illusive as far as reviews and input from internet users?

I read the article about the Polish scientist who grew up atheist. It seems he was later enlightened by some Jehovahs Witnesses. Now he believes in "God". He never acknowledged Jehovah as this god, nor does he claim in the article to be a JW. Isn't it a bit odd to find WT accepting of those who simply believe in "a god"?
I have never seen atheists groups actually organize to picket church groups. Atheists may speak up in a way to educate others but I have not seen them attack with physical force people who are trying to go inside of churches. This is what is implied through the artwork in the magazine.
Did you notice that the "preacher" in his ecclestical robes, silhouetted in white, has all the appearance of an angel, with the robe sleeves subliminally depicting wings? Does this give some indication that WT is accepting the ecclestical dress codes of worldly religions now as being legitimate?
Do I see a subtle formation of interfaith beginning in the WT ranks? Will they bond with the worldly religions and unite to oppose the atheists of the world? Are they trying to create a division here by implying violent opposition and a need to bond with christians of all faith in order to have strength to oppose the new boggie-man?
