so for those of you who claim to be directly spoken to by this being, when you first heard the name did you ask him how to spell it?

i am having a hard time imagining how it's really pronounced, i guess i can figure out the first name, but the second one...when i try to say it i feel like i'm trying to say ms. zha zha gabor.. seriously, did he impart the spelling to you or did you have to ask?.

Perhaps those who hear the voice spell it in such a way as to simply use phonetics. Or maybe the demon moved the pen in their hands while in trance; I think that is called "automatic writing". As a matter of fact, I believe WT promoted a book that was written by such a method, many years ago.

This is a clear example to me of Rutherford and the Society believing in and endorsing the views of "honest" demons and also a direct involvement with the occult and spiritism which they would call "deviltry" or "demonism." Today we would call this channeling.

i have been watching the youtube videos about the new testament( also covers the gospel of thomas) and i find them very enlightening.

perhaps former jws can stop worrying what jehovah/jesus might do to them, they will be able to stop worrying about who has the true religion and find out, is aguest a sage or something else?.

also, these videos might help an ex-jw find a new way to get a spouse out of the kh, without directly attacking the wt organization.

ooooooo! Moshe, this looks very interesting and I plan to spend some time listening to the lectures. Coming from Yale University, home of the Illuminati Secret Societies, I expect to find some gems in this material. Tricky bit of wording here, people. The operative word is PENNSYLVANIA! And while Russell may not have been a PENNSYLVANIA Freemason, he could very well have been a mason in another jurisdiction! Here's proof! (I hate sly wording.)

my dad was a catholic and told me many times that the church had secrets stored up regarding the book of reverlation, and if they were to become public knowledge this would cause world panic, do you have any info on this as it's well known in the uk..

Didn't the New World Translation originally come from literature that was approved and published by Rome? Seems to me that all protestant religions are still based on documents approved and edited by Rome.

One of the "secrets" is that they actually made artwork out of the bones of the dead. They have catacombs full of bizarre stuff like this:

Preperation for Armageddon

i dislike the way that the publications promote such excitement for armageddon.

i have only ever met one jw that actually suggested that anyone dying beforehand may be fortunate as they will not have to face the horrors of armageddon.

anyway, it would make a lot of sense if the gb somehow focused on preservation during this time as many will die due to the nature of what will occur.

They very rarely talk about witnesses dying during armagedon but it would appear that some loss would be inevitable

It is likely some will get caught in the crossfire or from other calamaties that will be occurring.

Seems to me that this is WT propaganda and speculation and not upheld by scripture. As a matter of fact, the scriptures say that Jesus will search for every lost sheep. Seems to me that when the angels do the gathering, if they are perfect as believed, they would not make any mistakes, and that all of the "sheep" belonging to him are to be taken into the storehouse while the weeds are bound. According to that there should not be any "casualties" of His sheep. Only man believes in the "collateral damage" of other humans. I can't find where Jesus takes such a view of human beings as commerce and collateral damage.
