  The January WT has some good stuff in it. The basic message is that Armageddon is just about to come, God will kill people, and JWs will be spared because they use Gods name (of all things! he is really picky about that name!).

  Good stuff:

  • Carefull mentioning of both 607bc, 539bc and what they signify. Im gonna write a script soon and make count of the historical dates used in the WT, i have a feeling what it will show...
  • "Still, as a people, “the chosen ones” and their loyal companions (are they average Dubs or their unbelieving husbands/wifes?) will physically survive the end of apostate Christendom by taking refuge in Jehovah and his mountain like (good shit!) organization.
  • Some of God’s people who have been attacked by demons have found refuge in Jehovah by calling his nameout loud. (just try to picture that! the author warns them not to use the tetragram as a talisman - clearly they are catering to the mentally insane here!)
  • Through “the faithful and discreet
  • slave” and elders inthe congregation,we are
  • alerted to trends in the world that could endanger
  • that security. (HAHA. The author mention what warnins have been given:)
  • Think of how often we have been
  • warned about materialism ...
  • about the danger
  • of developing an easygoing attitude ...
  • encouragement from
  • the faithful slave to follow Jesus’ command
  • to preach the good new (And that is such usefull advice one can only hear it too infrequent!)

  From the second article there is a quote that made me think of Brotherdan:

  Unfortunately this refers to an unbelieving mate that never was a believer, a mate that goes from believer to apostate is a whole different ball game.

  Yeah, she was probably married a doormat of a husband who let his JW wife have her way. She could talk about all things WT and the poor bloke was scared to even mention anything that was wrong with the WT religion.

  I'd like to see a single verse where demons are subject to the name "jehovah"?
