  Further apostasy in the WT; Sept 29 - Oct 5 Study article dissected.

  sept29-oct5 "jehovah will not leave his loyal ones" name jehovah is used 21 times, jesus is mentioned 3 times.

  the fds is, of course, mentioned.

  the verses in revelation say that the lord (who is ruling as king) would bring to ruin those not fearing his name.

  This probably will make no sense, Sorry I am just trying to understand:

  PAR4, PAR6, PAR9 & PAR10- What I understand is this; Christ is not doing his job, so they are preparing themselves (GB) to commit mutiny and overthrown Christ.

  PAR13, PAR14 & PAR15- What I understand is this; the GB is preparing the people for the aftermath after the hostile takeover (Jesus failed to perform so they are following Jehovah instructions). Apostates are talking about how the WTO is manipulating the scriptures and that now the WT can make a new bible because they now truly and only represent Jehovah interest with Jesus Christ out of the equation. So they are starting the discredit campaign in advance.

  In shot in the future they can make their own set of rules, their own bible, without having to be afraid of independent thinking.

  being brought up a j.w no one ever gave an accurate description of why the dinosaurs where actually put on the earth by jehovah.

  if i ask this question to my parents now they still dont have an answer that makes any sense.

  The Cenozoic, is the most recent of the three classic geological eras and covers the period from 65.5 million years ago to the present.
  The Cenozoic is the age of new life. During the Cenozoic, mammals diverged from a few small, simple, generalized forms into a diverse collection of terrestrial, marine, and flying animals. The Cenozoic is just as much the age of savannas, or the age of co-dependent flowering plants and insects. Birds also evolved substantially in the Cenozoic.

  That is a very good question. Hi billie jean, hope all is well.

  The dinosaurs lived proximately 200 million years ago; they ruled the earth for 160 million years. And disappeared 65 million years ago (K–T extinction event, aka: the big rock).
  Modern humans “prototypes” appears 4 million years ago, with means that the earth was almost empty for about 60 million years. The modern man emerges about 200,000 years ago.

  The earth is about 4.5 billion years old, during that period, the planet have been “preparing for us” (not in the order that they occurred, you can do your own research and let me know how far off I am):

  1. Bombarded by meteors
  2. Created the moon.
  3. Ice age.
  4. Mini ice age.
  5. Global flooding.
  6. Global fires.
  7. Rodinia supercontinent.
  8. Pangaea supercontinent.
  9. 5 mass extinctions.
  10. Change magnetic field a couple of times.

  To conclude, I don’t know the answer for your question, but the truth is that he took a lot of time to put this thing together.

  Hi Caliber, hope all is well.
  I am not from the WT but, don’t you think that even when you are not suppose to have independent thinking, the Witnesses use that (thinking wherever the teachings are wrong or not), more that what they feel (with the heart). As a matter of fact, a have read in a few sites that sometimes people are manipulated (correct me if I am wrong), “to never trust your own heart”, "wait on Jehovah", "leave it in Jehovah's hands", "don't run ahead". With means that every time that a situation arise that requires to trust your feelings, the teachings kicks in.
  So, in my opinion, even if you think that those people are using their heart, they are not. They are using the thinks that are indoctrinated in their minds and overwriting all the feeling, guts, “social considerations, listening to their heart and considering the feelings of others” and replacing it with logic (whatever that is within the organization), so they “tend to see the world in black and white and dislike fuzziness”.
  Sorry if a make no sense, as a matter of fact I use my feelings more.

  My opinion:

  There is no god, no jehovah, no mythical or mystical entities. Mankind created those mighty creatures, in order to induce and create fear and thru that, good behavior. Another explanation could be to understand thinks beyond our comprehension

  Don’t get me wrong, sometimes, I will give anything to truly believe but then….. I keep thinking and I can’t find anything that makes me change my mind.

  I really believe it’s true. Sometimes you don’t have to do something or say anything , just be there.

  You are probably right. Usually a person takes a line of thoughts or an idea from other sources and analyzes it.

  Then comes the important part, our experiences, values and believes kicks in and either modify, agrees, add, subtract or rejects parts or all thoughts.

  Either way, ones we start with the analysis, the thoughts become our own.

  Great post! I am trying to figure out how the mind of someone how goes to a meeting woks. You have to excuse my English, but it’s not that good. I have been wondering if someone can answer a couple of silly questions.

  1.All the meetings are like this? Someone wrote something and then insert a scriptural reference for that particular man made paragraph or interpretation?

  2.Do you have the time to look at the bible in real time; do you have the time to look at the previous or subsequently verse and find out if the quote its use in the right contexts? 3.I know that you are not allow to read the bible without the help of the watchtower but; when you are reading something that you don’t understand and you are studying in your home; don’t you get a little curious and check the bible to try find the answer for yourself?

  4.What happens if you find something in the book that it’s in opposition to something that you read in the bible?
