  a faith-based motivational speaker by the name of justin lookadoo (yes really) has been upsetting pupils, parents and staff at a texas high school.. some pupils walked out of the lecture while others began tweeting with the hashtag #lookadouche.

  This is very funny, when you use a book that can be manipulated to say whatever you want these are the results. And when you ask why that "great architect" or his son couldn't came with something more direct or strait forward, the blame is always on the receiving end.

  Could there really be something to the UFO phenomena? Amazing documentary

  it's easy to just poo-poo the ufo thing, especially if you're naturally very skeptical after your jw experience as i am, but when you see documentary's like this it seems undeniable that some kind of inexplicable phenomenon is occuring.

  could vehement deniars of the ufo phenomenon please suspend their criticisms until they've at least watched the whole documentary, to be fair to others who are more open-minded on this subject.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjismjxshpg.

  @ mind blown

  As I stated before, I know almost nothing about quantum mechanics, I am not even a good astro-physics aficionado.

  I get the part of multiple universe, what I don't get if the possibility to travel from one to the other, and how much energy is required to do so.

  Sorry Sir/Ma'am, with all due respect, and I really mean it. I am not responsible for your ignorance... You are. If you want to believe in a god, by all means. But if you think that this deity is capable of doing whatever he/she/it wants, well I think that you have to start reading a book or two. And put the awake and watchtower magazine down for a while. We are no playing "my daddy is stronger that your daddy". Those are facts.

  Really, I have no idea how to reply to this without been disrespectful. Respectfully, the bible is also full with a lot of nonsense. Just to mention a few:

  Why are there clouds in the sky?
  Nahum 1:3

  Why are some people blind, deaf, dumb or handicapped in some other way?
  Exodus 4:11, Luke 1:20

  What causes thunder and lightning?
  Job 37:2-3

  Why do we sometimes see rainbows?
  Genesis 9:13-15

  What causes tornadoes to form?
  Jeremiah 30:23, Isaiah 40:24

  Why are some women unable to have children?
  Genesis 20:3, 18. Samuel 1:2, 5

  What causes earthquakes?
  Isaiah 13:13, Psalms 18:7

  Why are some men afflicted with hemorrhoids?
  Deuteronomy 28:27, 1 Samuel 5:6

  Energy is the key here. Everything in the universe moves and vibrates, everything is vibrating at one speed or another. Everything is taking energy or giving energy away.

  And if there is a god, he, she, it have to play by the same rules.

  I am not a witness, but I doubt you will find some article about science (and I don't mean pseudo-science) in the wt library or any religious text or library.

  Personally I found it very complicated. I don't understand most of it. Is a very abstract concept. There are even some laws of physics that don't apply in that discipline. like objects being in two places at the same time, correlations that exceed any classical correlations, and the apparent ability for information to travel instantaneously across vast distances. I don't get any of that.

  Quantum Mechanic is the scientific principles that explains the behaviour of matter and its interactions with energy on the scale of atoms and subatomic particles, and how these phenomena could be related to everyday life.
