Questions to ask God while in a Lucid Dream...?

assume that all 'visions' in the bible, including revelation, etc, were actually real and they happened while those people were lucid dreaming or in a lucid state.

assume that if god or angels were to speak to you, that is the way in which they would do it.

the 3 questions are about anything and the proof question is asking him something so you can verify the answer or the answer will give you absolute proof that it was him you were speaking to and it was not just in your subconscious making him up and the answers.

My friend. there is no logic behind your argument. That's exactly what your are doing right now. You are mixing religious teachings, ideas and your own take of dogma.

No I didn't. You claimed that your deity is "the real living being" and "the risen one who is King". I just pointed out that others religions were claiming the exact same myths centuries before Jesus.

I can't produce a statement, because it won't work that way. If you really want truth and knowledge, you should do some homework by yourself. Read from apologetics, critics (neutral sources), and opposer, then draw your own conclusion.

How do you know they are fake. Maybe one of them, or even both of them are truth and the real savior. Yeshua is just trying to stir you into the wrong path.

You keep mentioning 1st century christians. Do you know what some of these 1st century christians believed?
Do you know if they described and/or praised a deity similar to the one you know?

Tertullian and Justin Martyr (early "church fathers") knew about the similarity between Christianity and the Pagan Mysteries (Osirus-Dionysus, Horus, Mythras, Iris etc.)

Do some research.

With all due respect, you haven't answered my question. Osiris, Dionysus and Jesus share a lot of "distinctive happenings", among those are "the real living being" and "the risen one who is King".

My question was/is, what exactly make yours unique, special and real? Why jesus and not osiris or Dionysus?

Dionysus was a Greek God, and Osiris, an Egyptian God. Myths had been circulating for centuries before "Jesus" birth (circa 4 to 7 BCE). It is obvious that if any copying occurred, it was the followers of Jesus incorporating into his biography the myths and legends of Osiris-Dionysus, not vice-versa.

So, why do you claim that yours is the real deal?

Not exactly, what criteria is being used to confirm or backup your statement?:

1. God made flesh, the savior and "Son of God."
2. His father is God and his mother is a mortal virgin.
3. He is born in a cave or humble cowshed before three shepherds.
4. He offers his followers the chance to be born again through the rites of baptism.
5. He miraculously turns water into wine at a marriage ceremony.
6. He rides triumphantly into town on a donkey while people wave palm leaves to honor him.
7. He dies at Eastertime as a sacrifice for the sins of the world.
8. After his death he descends to hell, then on the third day he rises from the dead and ascends to heaven in glory.
9. His followers await his return as the judge during the Last Days.
10. His death and resurrection are celebrated by a ritual meal of bread and wine, which symbolize his body and blood.

Well my friend you mighty be talking about Osiris or Dionysus as well. I will appreciate if you could be more specific, and tell me what makes your version and/or your deity extra special.

i am a member of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints, and i have written a heavily-documented response to the official magazine of the jehovah's witnesses, awake!, that claims to teach what we believe.

i saw an article from last year's watchtower about a guy who had barely been mormon for very long, and obviously did not know what we believe, who was given this magazine by jw's to show him "the truth.

" he claims to have proven to himself that it was true from information on the lds church's website.
