The Void!
by BloominMarvellous inhi guys.
i need a little more advise, i have spoken to a couple of friends about this void i'm currently experiencing after leaving ( being ignored so decided to leave) the jws.. i feel alone, i'm now longer allowed on the ministry and im not having to study for meetings, so i have this massive great hole in my life.. it's the mental agony as well, kind of knowing that friends that you thought would always be there, arent any more.
and after two years of indoctrination, i feel that im displeasing jehovah or abandoning god.. my head was screwed anyway from ten years of depression and this thing with the jws has really taken its toll.. if you had any coping mechanisms i would love to know.. thank you in advance for your support x .

Bloomin - Please take the advice of leavingwt. This void that you have identified is a great step in progression, you have to get out of it asap. If you stay there too long (as i have) it will really take even more of a toll than it has already. Congrats for reaching out.

Defining "race".
by lurk3r inif we enter into a "new world" with no boundries, and people mix freely in a "perfect world", with no regard for race or a particular ethnicity, what will the world become?
how and where would everything settle out genetically in the stream of time?.

Something like dog's ya think? The pure breds are prone to disease and the like, more so than Heinz 57's?

How many of you knew about the"Jesus is not your Mediator" teaching when you were JWs??
by Lady Liberty inhi everyone.... just curious how many of you knew when you were active, about the societys official teaching regarding jesus the mediator.
i was floored to find in my research, that they teach jesus is the mediator for the 144,000 only.
and it is only by our association with them that we might have salvation.. i don't know about you guys but i was blown away when i learned they taught this.

So essentially, every Witness that has died, up until now and also tomorrow, has no mediator.
I guess "redeemer" doesn't cover the whole mediator role. Stark contrast there to differentiate as most Joe's wouldn't discern.
Thank you Yknot.

I've noticed something different at this years district convention
by JWinprotest innot sure if this was the case elsewhere, but i noticed that the contribution boxes with the people attending them stayed out in the hall ways throughout the entire session.
they used to be set up only before and after sessions and during lunch......times are tough!

So essentially, every Witnesss that died, up until the time this teaching was changed, had NO mediator.
What a crock.

At 4:40 in the first video they ask “Our Milky Way galaxy contains over 100 billion stars. Can we even comprehend such a large number?”
I can. It’s 80 billion less than the AIG bailout.Ha! Brilliant!

life without drama is boring?..nothing much to post about now...however...
by oompa insince so many of you guys hated my drama as you called it....(i just call it my life at that time)...which was wild roller coaster ride for nearly three years.......(and damm do i love wild coasters)......but not in real life situations out of amusement parks me thinks....... so the drinking may still be a prob even though i quit for a month save one birthday party...my first ever!....yet i was moderate.....new lite even told me so........ i started back a bit last week.....way too soon and not sure why.....but loss of biz is a huge stress.......first time in my life i feel a struggle and cash flow worries....so i am damm lucky i guess!
!........first time ever.....really........i mowed yards and cleaned gutters starting at 10, and had a huge morning paper route from age 13-15 at 5:00 that got me my first motorcycle....and had a great paying job in high school........weird having your first money worries at mid-life....oompa.
