So let me get this straight
by TheICE ina web site called jehovah-witness.net where x-jw's and jw's who pretend to be jw's come to chat about how bad jehovah witnesses are and how they brain washed them etc, would it not be more productive to move on and forget than to let something most of you obviously hate take so much of your time and effort.. for some being a jw is about not being part of the world, what other religion is there that is as moral as a jw.
i am d'fed but i belive that jw's are the true religion.
sure some of them can be self righteous pricks but there imperfect just like anyone else,we all need to focus on us and not worry about what there doing because we can't change them.. .

"drink driving" - Glad Chickpea cleared that one up! I was like wow, "this girl does not belong the wheel right now." heh
I have never been "caught", but I have drove drunk before. To be quite frank, I have been nothing but lucky as far as not getting caught, or hurting anyone in the process. The times I have drove, I fooled myself into thinking that I was ok to drive, but by the time i made it home I realized it really was a dumb move. It's much easier AND cheaper to just take a cab than run the risk of severe regret in one way or another.
I guess I should add that I don't condone it under any circumstances, and that my irresponsible actions took place many years ago.

Intuition.
by lurk3r indo you think that being raised a jw may possibly leave you with more of an "intuition" than many folks out there in the world today?
being raised to "not use your head", perhaps our bodies try and compensate for this in other areas?.
knowing full well that "some questions" just cannot be asked within the organizational structure, perhaps we have had a bit more experience in knowing what one witness might already be thinking, because we already think like them to a certain degree?

Since we were not encouraged to "think freely", we had to do things differently than most people in the world.

What should I say next?
by asilentone ini was wondering what to say to the elder after i complained about a brother that did me very wrongly and he said do not worry about him, he told me only to focus on my spiritual health.
what should i have said back to him?.

could you elaborate on "very wrongly"? Of course a persons reply is going to be based on such things...

Asilentone - are you actually going to take something from here and mention it? Or are you just wanting something to have in your reserve?

Spies...How Would You Know?
by cameo-d inwith the talk lately of the bone pointers snooping on facebook, etc....and the fact that they do sniff out this board.... do you think they actually register and participate here...or just read and try to figure out locations, familiar sounding scenerios, etc.
to try to pinpoint people?.
do you think any of these snoops have ever blended in as "one of the gang" to lure information from people?.

When i first got on this board, I kind of wondered along the same lines. After being here for a while, I think it is just too vast for someone to come here and "find" someone at will. Anyone coming here to do such a thing, would have to spend a considerable amount of time "searching" and in the process their whole "Witness World" would have to fall apart I'd imagine. The higher up you are in the "chain" though, the easier I would imagine it to be to get caught. There are a lot more R&F members to wade through than Bethel members or Overseers.
Where did you get "Bone Pointer" from Cam?
