Fox News Using Electronic Brain Washing? Hidden Hypnotic Signal Found

recently i came across a thread where some of our more passionate posters were discussing the latest fox transgression.
it was being alleged that fox was overtly lying about protests occurring in wisconsin while the infamous palm tree smoking-gun video clearly showed otherwise.

With all due respect, freeman, I do not agree with you. And let me state right off that I despise Fox to the n th degree. I actually believe that they would be capable of doing such a thing if it were technically feasible. I cannot answer to the technical details that you have presented but, intuitively, there seems to be something wrong with the idea.
Why would Fox want to put their audience in a sleepy state, even if they could be more susceptible to hypnosis, when most of their drivel is intended to create AGITATION in their targeted audience? I think that any slightly sleepy alpha state that people are put in would be more than counteracted by the hatemongering, adrenaline pumping content of their programs.
As for conventional subliminal techniques, that may perhaps be true. I don't know if such methods are really effective but, in any case, it would be targeted at an audience that's going to watch Fox anyway. It's unlikely to attract more people that are not predisposed to their schlock in the first place.
As far as their having a high viewership, that's no reason to assume that Fox needs unconventional means to pull those people into viewership. The bottom line is, there are a lot of conservative fools in this nation to keep Fox viewership high.

Saudi Troops Enter Bahrain
by cofty inwhile the world has been focussed on japan, the rulers of bahrain have permitted around 1000 saudi troops to enter the kingdom to help quell opposition protests.. ruling families in the gulf states are mostly sunni muslims, the protestors are shi'ite muslims.
iran, which is a shi'ite state, has voiced its opposition to saudi interference.. the potential for a sectarian conflict is very concerning..

The situation in Bahrain may have more mid to long term consequences for the US and the world in general but the people in Japan are going to suffer as much, perhaps much more, than the people in Bahrain. This, assuming the worse case scenario in both countries.

Sinis, I wasn't referring to the accuracy or sensitivity of the Geiger Counter but to whether the radioactivity level of Iodine 131 can be recognized against background radiation. There is a level at which any good GC will detect natural background radiation coming from the ground. However, the radioactive signature of the Iodine 131 may be hidden by the background radioactive levels.
I'm not saying that I'm sure about this, but I know that the radioactive levels of the fallout will be very low in spite of its dangers. Detectability, at equal to or lesser than background levels, is the issue.

Sinis, my IE browser is registering a security warning when I link to your site.
As far as using a Geiger Counter, they are useful for measuring small to large amounts of external radiation. However, the levels of Iodine 131 that could cause harm if inhaled, might be too low to be distinguished from background radiation.

by undercover ini've seen a few threads/posts where some of y'all have heard from jw contacts and how they've stepped up their 'the end is close' rhetoric because of the earthquake/tsunami in japan.
i usually take those things with a grain of salt.
there's always some jw whose cheese has slipped that reads prophecy into every little thing that happens.
