Is nothing sacred? We decided to spend a beautiful summer day at Rocky Mountain National Park. We drive into the visitor center and what do we see? There is a table FULL of literature and two older Dubs sitting in there lawn chairs with umbrellas enjoying the scenery . Under the table are two large clear tubs filled with more literature it looked like they cleaned out the whole literature counter.The place was crowded and nobody was going near them. My husband walked by and said 135 years of predictions and none of them have come true and the old fella just kind of half laughed my husband just kept walking he had our 4 year old with him and didn't want to get into it. I just though what a lazy way to count time. I never had it that good, sitting in your lawn chair with gorgeous scenery counting your time. I should of taken a pic but didn't think about it till we left.

So sorry Alana this is such a hard thing. Been there to many times myself. At least all dogs go to heaven.And I'm sure her final years were great and she was well loved.

What Were Some Stupid Rules In Your Hall?
by minimus infamilies with younger children had to sit in the last 3 rows or they were counseled!.
disfellowshipped persons were told not to sit next to each other and talk because it "looks like they're unrepentant"..

When our hall was built the rule was no baby bottles in the hall you had to sit in the bathroom or in the tiled entrance way. Pain in the butt trying to keep a little one happy for 2 hrs with no bottle. Also no writing instruments at all for kids ,another tough one how do you keep them happy for 2 hours if they cant write or draw.No gum no mints etc...ughhh

by sacolton intoday i met the widow of ed dunlap, who was of the watchtower writing committee and a great thinker.
he found that the watchtower was not in harmony with the scriptures, so they disfellowshipped him.
when ray franz was disfellowshipped, it was ed who took him in and gave ray a job and a place to stay.

Since money is not an option and she can't go out to shop. I know this is a lot to ask sorry, my husband would go mad with this request but I would really appreciate it if you could.

by shopaholic ini know you all are tired of hearing about michael jackson but after seeing this video, i was reminded of the guilt that lingers after the leaving the jw religion.
as i understand it, his primary reason for leaving was because latoya was df'd and he didn't like having to chose between religion and family.

Today is my twin sons birthdays
by purplesofa ini just have to share that my twins are 28 today.. we are planning a birthday party for them, my daughter , i and their friends.. .
i have not done anything for their birthdays since they were small boys.. i just got very sad for all those birthdays we never had.. .
they are great kids, it's going to be a great party!!!.
