i believe they are out of the organized to do jehovah's will book?

I believe they are out of the Organized to do Jehovah's will book? Does anybody have a scan of these or a link to previous discussion of these. And any suggestions on the ones I should tactfully question her about. I am going to ask her about the 1985 change in the question replacing holyspirit with organization.

That's funny. I just had two Mormon's come to my door this morning. I live in Colorado so close to there mother ship. They were very nice asked me if I knew anything about them. I said yes as a matter of fact I was in a religion for many years that was similar to there's. They said JW's right off the bat. I had to laugh. They asked me if I wanted to talk about any of our similar beliefs with them. I politely declined. I think some of there beliefs are crazier than witnesses. If you haven't seen Religious by bill maher.I recommend it for the look into the Mormons and Scientoligist wild stuff. But for adults only.Sorry off the subject a little but wanted to share.

first of all let me say hi, ex witness of 19/20 years here - left the borg about 6 or 7 years ago now.. just when i think that i am away from them for good, there is some knock on the door, a familiar face, or something in the media which brings it all back.
how i would love to just let it go and live life to the full without remembering what i went through with the witnesses.. just last week it came back to me again, a knock on the door and i was caught totally offguard.
i made my excuses and basically closed the door in their face but after i lamented on how i should have fought my corner, like i used to when i phased myself out.
Yes ,you are defiantly not alone Anger is a very strong emotion I think most of us feel after being lied to for some many years. And when we think of how it has effected our daily life. My husband would get very angry when they would contact him after we faded, they would basically call him a murderer of his family. They really have a holier than thou attitude, but the skeletons they have in there closet make it laughable. You have certainly found a good place to vent and have understanding friends.

i'm delighted to say our latest addition to the family, fergus keir hunter, was born on saturday morning - 6.06am - weighing in at 6lbs 12oz.
mum and baby are both doing very well.
our other two kids are very pleased, cameron in particular; he's now got the wee brother he's always wanted.. i twittered throughout the pregnancy and you can find the 'tweets' here.. .
Congratulations to you and your wife. Enjoy every minute of it. As you know they grow up way to fast.

they had 2 kids robert and leann.he left ohio in the 70's and moved to north carolina in some overseer position.

He would be in his late 70's now, somewhere I believe back on the East coast. I heard he remarried some sister who is in her 40's. Would like to know if you had any experience with him .

nine months ago, my whole world was rocked sideways and upside down!!
it all started with a search on the internet about jw's and 1975. little did i know what i was going to see when i came on here-jwn and freeminds.org.
needless to say, i was totally devastated to learn how that the "truth" was not really the truth.
Good for you. What a great attitude. You've made peace with what you were given in life and now your kids will be given a chance at a great life.
my husbands niece called him last night to proudly announce she was getting baptized this summer.this actually was a bit of a surprise to us.since she is 27 and was raised in the truth.
the family is not go getter witnesses.
they seem to just do the basics to get by and we figured since she had not gotten baptized in her teens like most of us born in's she just was not that in to it.
Thank You all for the great advise. I think the main points we need to remember are. Nothing negative don't want to feed the big apostate monster.
Impress upon her the importance of her decision, shunning ,loss of family members etc...
I would love to get Ray's book in her hands and also to get her to look at the Silent lambs web site. We just have to be careful because as you know they see it as poison and won't touch it. So maybe with patience and waiting for the right moment.
She has to have her own ah-ha moment.
We will call her this weekend and I will post an update
