Hi I'm new here

feeling guilty already about being on here, the familiar words are recalled in my mind "don't go on any jehovah's witness websites except 'watchtower.org'!

so here i am, desperate for some help.

i'm 21 and have been studying for 2 years, i was made an unbaptised publisher in february and it was all going great until i had a problem with getting a little tipsy, the elders had to come scrape me off the floor of my witness friends house and take me home.

However, unless you want to tell the Elders, in great detail what you did, I would tell then to F-off. They are a group of dirty old men who will ask you to tell them step-by-step, detail-by-detail, exactly what you and your guy did. They seem to get off on the details.

So, unless you are willing to give them a pornographers wet-dream of a detailed list, I would not tell them a thing and tell them it is none of their business.

That is just my opinion. Experienced opinion.

Where I am there are lots of illegals. Lots. Latinos, Polish, Russians, Asians and just about every country in the world. They are allowed to give talks, go D-t-D, street preach, e-mail bomb people, book studies, just about everything. The only thing I have not heard them being is Elders. The congs need brothers and when they snag one they will take what they can get. If they have to allow him priviledges to keep him happy, they will.

Then again, if he's single, there is always a single American sister to marry him off to to gain him citizenship. My mom told me of 3 weddings she went to last year. All brothers from other countries marrying sisters from the USA. (cough, cough)

As for someone having cancer and getting treatment and not losing weight?

Ummm, yeah. Someone very close to me is currently undergoing treatment and due to the meds, which I won't state due to privacy, have made them totally unable to lose weight and have made them gain about 50 lbs.

Their JW Mom? All she does is harp on when will you lose weight? Why don't you try Oprah and Dr. Oz's latest weight loss crap.

I get copied on the e-mails the JW Mother sends to this person and it is sickening. She can't see that due to the meds her child is gaining weight and due to the meds can't lose weight. She is more concerned with what people will think about an overweight child. Not the cancer, not the fact the child will die, relatively soon.

Sick bastards.

Would Jesus be worrying about someone's weight? No.

in february i had streak of bad luck and lost mine... but i just got another last week!

once you use this phone, there is no going back.. i was a little paranoid about "jailbreaking" my phone when the cracks first came out last year.

Thanks for the info. I have had mine about 6 months now, so voiding my warranty would not make me happy. However, I didn't have time today to work on it so when I read more and look over all the info I'll let you know what I do. It really sounds intriguing. I love playing with my gadgets so this is a new one to work. I use it like a netbook.

66 year old new mom!!!

i just read about a woman that's having her first child at age 66. i feel that's a little to old to have a baby.

what do all of you think about that?.

If she did it totally naturally, no hormones, no in-V, no any thing that Mother Nature didn't put there when *she* was born, fine. I have no problem with it.

If she had to conceive a kid with help from a pharma company and a hi-risk OB-Gyn, she is an idiot. And unless the doctor is going to be there to help her take care of that kid(s), he's a bigger idiot. Though, no doubt, a wealthy idiot.

Thanks lurk3r! I was just watching videos on it on YouTube. I have so many apps now I lose track of what they are for. If I don't have it in my hand for an hour I panic. I find the landline and call myself to find it. Sad, I know. I am hooked. I haven't text'd in the car yet, just read at stop lights.

I watched it twice. I agree Jacob is not gone for good. How could Ben kill Jacob who has been around for centuries? And, Juliet? I hope she makes it out alive after setting off the bomb but I don't believe she will. I can't wait til next year.
