Plus, it's not like Tiger's gals didn't know he wasn't married. They knew. So, they made a deliberate decision to potentially break up his family. They deserve zero respect. As does anyone who knowingly sleeps with a married person and potentially breaks up a family unit.
Families are in short supply. We need to cherish them not deliberately fcuk them up. Just for fun.

As for your wife, as blondie posted Watchtower articles, you are the head of the household. As much as I hate pulling the Headship Card, you need to. In this case you have Watchtower propaganda to back you up. Don't back down and let your wife push you on this. You are allowed to take your children to your place of worship and you are allowed ot have Internet and go to any web sites you want.
Her threatening you is a joke. On her. Tell her you looked up these articles and pull them out and read them to her. Watch her face fall. It will.
As for college and educating your children, do it. Don't let her not let your kids be educated. The one thing the JWs don't want is smart, critically thinking people in the ranks. Why? Because once they go to college and learn to think critically, they won't be JWs for long. I'm living proof of that.
So, push the old Headship Card.

i owned 2 houses which were rented out.i lived rent free in london working for a rich arab-.
due to being a witness i quit a job and a lifestyle i will never have again.. i now live in sweden with the same wife and have a kid- i can think critically.my good friends are those i met on the ministry (but never converted)-i have good friends from my congregation in england.

Critical thinking is the one thing that the JWs will not teach anyone. If critical thinking were taught by them, how many JWs would stay? Come on, put on your critical thinking cap.
Repitition. And subtle changes that make it difficult to determine how the Watchtower changed from the bound volumn. And no backtracking. No admissions or corrections. Have you ever read a "Corrections" in a Watchtower or Awake?
Have they ever corrected the Awake that said women brains were like Cows?
If any of the guys or gals still in had any critical thinking skills, they would listen to their apostate relatives, look up some of the stuff they are told and go "Huh, those guys in Brooklyn are full of shit!"

What products should I consider to ward off Deers?
by asilentone ini have seen several cars hit by deers around here, but i have never been hit by a deer here, i might consider to buy something to ward off deers.

Not where I live. You don't even have to alert the police unless it is blocking the road. Then you have to call them and they will alert the department of natural resources. They donate the deer, if it is *fresh* and not ill to the food banks. If it is ill or not fresh they dispose of it. I'm not clear what disposing of it means. I am afraid to look it up.
If they catch you taking it, they will fine you. Apparently taking road kill is popular. If it is fresh. Like just run over. (ewwww)
Some people brought in venison stew and I almost threw up at the thought of trying it. I said I was on a diet. I just couldn't try it. Just couldn't it. You never know what people put in stuff like that. I never eat what people bring into work.

These types of threads always make me smile then laugh then get mad.
There is nothing good or *not so bad* about being in a high control group or cult like the Jehovah's Witnesses.
You are denied basic rights. As a female you are put down and treated as a second class citizen. You might as well be living in a third world Islamic country for the advantages being a JW female provides. If they could convince us a Burka was in the bible, you bet JW women would be wearing one.
As HappyGuy noted, there are zero advantages and many disadvantages.
You are told education is bad. What kind of parent in a free country wants to deny their child the advantages of an education? Especially college? College only helps in todays world.
Only a completely brain-washed idiot for a parent, that's who.
I hate to say this but most of us on this board were denied that. If you are honest you will see that your parents did not want what was best for you. They wanted what was best for the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
And that is free labor. Labor to print and distribute their magazines and literature and keep the corporation running. They need new recruits for that which requires more free labor. Which requires more uneducated individuals who are unable to figure out that being taught how to give a Public Talk isn't the way to pay the bills.
Being brought up in any religion will teach you *morals*. Biblical morals. The Ten Commandments. Those are pretty basic.
What else did you learn? How to discriminate? How to look down on people? How to take a donut break? How to wash a toilet?
How to....what? How to be a team member? How to be an RN? How to be an architect? How to run your own business? How to be an accountant? How to be a doctor? How to be an IT consultant? How to write a resume?
How did being a JW prepare you for life on the street? How did they prepare you for life away from them when you really have to get along with the rest of society and learn the not all Worldy people are evil and won't kill you at the drop of a pin?
