  Ever had some Witness storm out or turn off a Movie you were watching! Which one?

  i was watching steve martin "leap of faith" pg rated mind you with some witnesses.

  he plays a fake faith healer.

  their were a couple swear words, and the brothers asked me to switch it off.. same thing happened with christine applegate movie {pg 13} "don't tell mom the babysiters dead.

  ....good point, Blondie, which brings me to another point: Ya know CleanFlix? It's like Netflix, but takes the dirty words out? My jw family was addicted to it, but it annoyed the crap out of me. When I watch a movie with cuss words, I usually overlook the cussword and just go along with the story/movie. But when there's a noise/bleep or they simply take the dirty word out, but you can still SEE what they just said....doesn't that just ingrain the cuss word even MORE in your head?

  the mind control in this latest oct.15th is amazing.

  our lurking jw friend sent us this and it basically tellls witnesses that their opinions don't matter and only god is good .

  it belittles independent thinking and explains that each rank and file jw is owned by the alleged " faithful and discreet slave " .

  Wasn't there a part in Weenend at Bernie's where the girlfriend puts her foot under the table between Bernie's legs? Yeah, we had to turn that movie off at that point. I still have never seen the whole thing, hehe
