Deoderant/Alzheimers/What Was I saying?...
by homeschool inhow do you feel about that...?
http://alzheimers.org.uk/factsheet/406 its controversial, but the question is whether aluminum contributes to alzheimer's.
considering your armpits absorb anti-persperant and most anti-persperants contain aluminum, is it worth killing your memory?

Don't jw's bash Secular authorities?
by homeschool infor a lot of ways, the jw's firmly believe what the secular/worldly authorities & scientists have to say.
(i.e.-how long the world has been here, etc).
but don't they also make fun of them?

Have you read Stolen Innocence?
by homeschool inby elissa wall?
http://blogcritics.org/books/article/book-review-stolen-innocence-by-elissa/ when i read it, i was very tearful because i could associate a lot of her life with mine.
the flds church is much more strict than jw's, but reading the book made me see that jw's are not the only ones who believe certain things, like that they have the "truth", or the roles of women, or the way men make their own decisions and then claim it's from god.

Do JW's believe that Moses wrote the 1st five books?
by homeschool inwell, i'm a few chapters into who wrote the bible, by richard elliot friedman (thanks, primate, for the suggestion!
)...there's no way i could explain the book to you, but i can see exactly what it's saying.
the author really puts it in layman's terms to show how many people/men wrote the bible.
