  I just checked some other videos by Dale and I'm just wondering if this guy is really someone who's wife is leaving him because wts created the atmosphere of hating apostates or is he connected to koolaind-man and johnny in some way. Maybe I'm too skeptical especially of anything koolaid-man posts but looking at dates of some videos and facial expressions (if anyone seen Alex Jones you'll know what I mean) I'm just wondering if the video we've been presented at the beginning of the thread is a pure act on part of dale?

  I usually don't post on Koolaid-man's threads for obvious reasons so maybe I'm just too skeptical of this whole thread as well, now that I looked at some of Dale's videos. While I don't find much wrong with what he is saying just the way it's presented and with Johnny-the-BS-Bethelite being mentioned in this video at 0:20 with a story that follows. I'm just wondering if Rick posted the video to try to take the heat off himself for long enough to post another johnny BS Bethelite thread few days after. Just saying....

  Changing plans...

  fading,.

  ive been going over it so many times in my mind.

  it seemed like a great idea before but things have changed, i have changed.. the more i learn and the more awake i become, the more i feel like fading is becoming less and less of an option.. the only reason i wanted to fade was to keep communication with my family, mainly my parents, but i've come to realize that they would shun me either way.

  they really are GOOD PEOPLE. I love them and I do not want to lose any of them.

  Problem is there are many good people trapped in the cult, but to what point are you willing to wear shackles just to be around people who have conditional love for you? Be it friends or family, you know you can't trust them completely unless you bow down to the GB if they force the issue. My wife's entire family are JW and are also "good people" but to some freedom is more valuebale than circle of drones who won't see. Those who wake up may want to put out some seeds of truth amongst the ones they may care about (I wish I did that prior to DA) and leave, either fade or DA, whichever makes the individual feel better and don't let any of them ever push their BS cult mentality upon you or your kids.

  There is another thread on this very subject. I'm not sure what your circumstances but if you are living at home then you may want to get your life in order before you cut your ties. If you are young and still at home, I would encourage you to go to school, either college or take courses that will prepare you in a real world outside of wts and then give wts a middle finger.

  I feel sorry for the guy as he's still in denial or what's going on.

  There is no possibility of wts falling apart any time soon, nor will they ever change their view on apostasy! If anything they will make things worse!

  The guy said too much to the cult lawyer. The cult lawyers don't care about anyone nor do they care about someone who's life was destroyed by their organization. Just because the lawyer can sound sympathetic on the phone doesn't make him any more caring than when JWs are at the door listening to the householder talking about something other than supporting the wts.

  He should get a lawyer before the final divorce, and get counseling so he can be mentally and emotionally ready for the divorce and try to get the custody of the kids. Forget the wife, and I know it's devastating for him but that's where counseling should help. Cult members like the wife may free themselves but waiting for such a time is wishful thinking and unrealistic. His interests should be to benefit himself and his kids. He needs to realize that he was stuck in a cult for a long time and playing nice with such assholes just doesn't work. Allowing the kids to go with the wife without a fight because you're nice, is a BAD idea!! You are basically allowing the cult to hold your loved ones hostage and program them further to hate you. I don't know how old his kids may be, but due to 10 years of payments, I'm guessing one is about 8 which is still too young to understand what's going on other than trusting the mother who is under cult control and trusting assholes in the KH who don't care for them nor their mother. If he plays nice and allows the mother to take the kids, the kids will be ruined just like many have been because of the wts.

  On another note, I'm surprised there aren't more people who go "postal" on elders or any of these people who destroyed their families.

  Also any non-JW lurkers who are dating JWs should really think about this video and what kind of cult they're getting involved with. You never know what kind of noo light those old douchebags in Crooklyn will come up in the future as they can always come up with the idea that non-jw mates are bad association, should be divorced. I'm sure they can use Israels examples leaving Babylon or any other BS example where Jews had to leave their mates to put nation of Israel ahead of their mates. These sort of cults love control and being married to a cult member is a big unknown! You don't know what the future noo light will be that may affect you and your relationship with the cult member or how it will affect your finances or your kids.

  As some brought out the judgement seat on another throne. Maybe the CO was referring to a symbolic position not an actual throne because how many thrones can there be? He goes to judge so that's another throne? He goes to a spiritual bathroom so he sits on another throne where the shit rolls downhill and hits GB with some new BS ideas. He goes to eat a meal and sits on another throne - in spiritual sense of course..........

  So while the CO may have talked about JC taking a position of judgement during Armageddon he wasn't nullifying the idea that JC took rule in 1914 as God's king.

  How can this CO get ahead of wts? I don't remember this new light being anywhere in a wt so is he the only CO telling this or has anyone else heard this from any other CO visit?

  It's very odd for a CO to run ahead of wts. If this is truly a noo lite then they are finally taking action to minimize 1914 but I would wait for something written in their rags before getting too excited over the noo lite.

  Other than my skepticism, this would mean that according to wts Jesus took power in 1878, 1914 and in the future :)

  Motives for starting the lie of Watchtower Authority.

  i have yet to come across anyones opinions, jw or not, of the personal motives of the leaders of the org.

  to perpetuate what i guess we all would call the lie of the watchtoer authority.

  in my opinion, i think that russell was an athiest out to show how easy it is to decieve people using the bible.

  IMO Russell believed his own crap upto probably around 1914 where he started to lose confidence in the end. He never gave up on the faith as a whole. He also was a businessman and moved his assets into a religious corporation to keep the money from Maria who divorced him.

  Rutherford, was an ass and used others for his own benefit. He didn't mind embellishing on reality and created a cult movement.

  Most others until death of Fred Franz may have been victims of concept as they tried to still look for BS dates and manage the movement with the idea of the end. This is still all before internet and the growth of "apostates."

  Today, though, I don't believe these people are victims but are perpetrators of crimes against others. They grew up in a cult and have no balls to walk away from it all. They run the cult by any means necessary to keep it together and get as much benefit they can within the expected confines of set rules. This stops them from owning personal mansions or having personal wealth but allows them to still live the remainder of their lives quite comfortable knowing that if they left they would die in poverty. GB already gave up their authority over the publishing empire to non-anointed and the misquotes and total deception in today's publications makes be think the top doesn't believe the crap anymore either but needs perpetuate the delusion amongst the jws. Who gains from the massive investments and real estate profits - I don't know but I think there are some who do. We know the money isn't flowing to the missionaries or general JWs.

  In conclusion I think that GB is like US president knowing the outcome for the people will be bad but they don't want the reality to him the general population under their watch so they'll do as much as they can to perpetuate the con.

  hi, i just wanted to know as i came here believing it is an 'anti-jw' site.

  or at least one where former jws can meet together (or ones struggling within the wt).

  yet looking at some early posts it seems it was originally for active jws.

  They're insured by wts kh fund so if they inflate the costs of damages it's probably for sympathy reasons while we have to remember that the labor is free so I don't see how it's possible for them to have incurred 500,000 in material damages.
