  i'm sure a lot of us actually know mutual people, as the co's relocate all over the country.. here's a few from the southeast us: (let me know if you recognize any names and post yours too please...).

  John Ferreir. At least I think he was a CO. Shows ya how much interest I had even back then. He performed my ex's and my marriage ceremony. I believe he eventually left his wife and kid and was disfellowshipped.

  Why Did I Allow My Hopes to Get Raised?

  a couple of months back, my son asked me to get in touch with my jw/elder father.

  he is planning a trip to colorado to visit his mother's family there, and thought it would be good to see his grandfather.

  since i have no contact with my father, i asked my cousin to broach the subject with him.

  Rest assured your dad is agonizing right along with you. That is the sad part of all of this...He is more than likely in as much pain as you, if not more, because he thinks he is doing what God wants. So he gets a double whammy by not communicating with you AND thinking that you will not be together in Paradise. Why they don't wake up to the insanity of it all is beyond me.

  I'm so miserable since leaving the JWs

  i can barely stand it.

  does anyone else feel this way?.

  for instance, i have a four-day weekend from work, which means i had today off(with pay, thank you very much).

  I actually loved the assemblies. At least once I was a teenager. Walking around during the sessions flirting with boys...meeting new people. I never listened just people watched.

  Grand baby pictures

  as a grandparent i feel the need to share this picture with you.. if any of you have cute pictures of grand babies please post them if your comfortable with it.. this little guy is elias, he was born january 4th in spokane.

  this picture was taken by his mother when elias was 8 weeks old.. he is my second grand baby, my 3rd one is "in the oven", they are all boys.. every time i look at this picture it makes me smile how about you ?.

  OH It's a good thing he isn't my grandbaby. I would be smothering that crazy adorable face with kisses constantly! I hate to think that my gkids aren't the cutest in the world but it may be true.

  i love chicken pie.

  the calories are terrible for a pie crusted chicken pie dinner but i love it.. and i love milk chocolate covered candy such as raisinettes or raspberry chocolate candies..

  Alice Springs Chicken from Outback steak house. That truly is a heart attack on a plate but I get it every time we go there. Probably every two or three months which is why my waist is way bigger than I would prefer because I deffinately am not what I would consider a healthy eater.

  i thought i'd heard it all after spending a life time in this organization.

  but for me the following statement uttered at the weekend circuit assembly takes the prize.. during the "pioneer talk"......the speaker said that pioneering enhanced jesus's spirituality.. to imagine that a made up thing like pioneering would enhance the spirituality of the christ.

  to those who still believe in christ ....this is so presumptious and proposterous........i just fell off my seat.. it tells me how this organization and its governing body have set themselves up so high .....that they could tell the christ how to live..

  I can understanding relating the pioneer work to emulating Jesus. What I can't understand would be the need for Jesus to have his spirituality enhanced....You don't get anymore spiritual than he supposedly was.
