I wonder whether our languages are going to be confused again

that old tower of babel must have been really really really tall to have caused him to panic somewhat.. the burj khalifa is nearly twice as tall as the empire state building.. what the hell must he be thinking now.

In fact God is accomplishing his word according to the "spiritual" interpretation of his word

the Tower is already under His action of "scattering" it

the team over W..Tower acted hard in the last several decades to "bring people of ALL nations" under their control

by imposing an "unity" under their own control

Now, God is shakening this Tower , and shortly it will be made into pieces

all its ex members will be confused ... regarding the "truth language" imposed by the Babel Tower leadership ...

putting on a three piece suit to spend a 90 degree summer day knocking on doors and trespassing!dragging an entire family, including babies and young children to three or four day meetings in an outdoor stadium, living in a seedy motel room for the week.getting home from work and spending the next six hours cramming for a 'theocratic review', getting the entire family ready to go, gulping down dinner, and speeding off to the hall, and then finally getting home around 11 pm, hurrying off to bed so that everyone could get up for work and school in the morning!going to school to explain to the teachers why little johnny can't color pictures of santa, salute the flag of his country, eat birthday cake with all the other 5 year olds, bow his head when prayer is offered, or exchange valentines with all the cute 5 year old girls in class.

and then explaining with grace why he is not immersed in a cult!well, on and on!

these things were typical of my witness life - now i cannot imagine ever doing such silly things, and especially thinking that somehow they would bring pleasure to my god!.

As A Witness, Were You Intrigued By Prophecy?

i knew some jws that lived for examining so -called bible prophecy per watchtower interpretation.

everytime they thought a "new point" was being brought out in a watchtower, they would begin their speculations and discuss their views with like minded theorists.. personally, i never got into bible prophecy, especially after realizing how the watchtower has changed their opinions over the years.. did you really get into prophecy or were you more into other aspects of jwism?.

In the book of Daniel,"The March Of The World Powers" got me good. I did the public talk on that one, the head of gold representated such and such etc. Down to the toes where we are supposed to be right now!

Could you think that that prophecy is exactly about the WTS- its history ?

"The head of the statue was made of pure gold" >> points to Russell's period

"its chest and arms of silver" >> points to Rutherford's period

"its belly and thighs of bronze" >> points to Knorr's period

"its legs of iron" >> points to Franz and Henschel period

the rock has been cut out already of the mountain,
and it is strucking/crushing the feet of this statue

the complete destruction/crushing of it will be within a few years

? about Satan and Heaven

i have been thinking lately about how the jw's believe that satan was kicked out of heaven in 1914 after the war in heaven.. first of all, why did it take so long for jehovah to finally decide to kick him out of heaven from the time that he decieved and turned his back on jehovah in genesis?

why was satan allowed to have access to heaven in the between time up until 1914?.

also, if revelation is supposed to be a future event, why do the jw's use that event as "already occurred"?.

i'll try to explain what i mean.

i belive that in every congo of dubs these days there is a large percentage that does not belive what the gb are currently spouting.

but you will not find these people admitting this to themselves a) because they would loose status and b) they would have to admit to themselves that they have been wrong and living a lie.. to acknowledge this requires alot of humilty, and to stop that lifestyle and start again requires great courage.

some of the "apostates" from WTS point of view are exactly the "least brothers of Jesus" to whom the kingdom will be given

this is the "course" God prescribed to take place for those loving the truth, to publicly acknowledge that they are against of the machinations of Devil and of his slaves and against the lie

the Jws - at least those at higher level in organisation- have done a "covenant" or a contract to serve God

so they are "His own"

that means that God himself has the right to have something against them/Jws

reading the Bible we may find what God has against his people...

so, MadJw , what does God has against your people ? have you read it in the Bible ?

Kingdom of Heaven Like a Mustard Seed

why is the kingdom compared to a bitter seed?.

The kingdom being like a "mustard seed" resembles with the "stone" of Daniel 2 :35,44

first the stone was little , after it kick the big statue it grows as a mountain

this is the way the kingdom will "come on earth"

we know from Bible that the kingdom is to be given to the "people of saints" (Daniel 7:27) , that is , a group of christians , the "least ones" brothers of Christ

for the beginning this group have to be very little known and with little power , but helped by God

they have to face a big giant / big statue , that is , another humangroup claiming that they are/represent the kingdom

now, we know the big statue/wery known group claiming that they are the kingdom : it is an worldwide organisation known as WTB&TS

what remains to be seen is the "stone" or the insignifiant group who, helped by God's spirit , and using in a right way God's word , have to "kick" the big statue together with its pretention to be the kingdom of God , using the "word" and as a result the big statue/organisation has to be broken in pieces ... under our sight

now , we all have to be in watch for , when we will see that , will have to give glory to God for He has accomplished His word

I became so by going out from men's organisation , to follow Christ

I don't have answer for your questions , I know only what I can learn from God's word

every thing happens is with God's will

if the OT has God's Name in it , then means it was God's will to be so

if the NT doesn't have God's fully Name in it , then it was accordingly to His will (indeed the short form "Yah" exists in comopsite words/names )

BUT why did God proceeded this way ?

I find in His word this declaration : Proverbs 25

2. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing; But the glory of kings is to search out a matter

........we can see here that God's way of sharing the knowledge in His word , was by "concealing" the matters/things

Once again we read in His word : Job 33

14. For God does speak—now one way, now another—
though man may not perceive it.

........again we see that God could do that : to explicitely use His Name in the hebrew writings , while in the christian writings He did not used it

Did Jesus used God's Name ? the scriptures says yes ; but we see that the inspired records could be written without a directly using of the Name.

BUT does Jesus agree that His Father's Name is YHWH/ Jehovah ?

-- YES !

By saying :"Your word is truth" , then Father's words in Exodus 3 are true and trustworthy

So , using the Name of God (even today ) is accordingly to His will

WHY does God proceeds like that with us (writing His word concealing the matters) ?

I find that He has the right to do so , as also we have the right/or obligation to manifest all our faith in Him

In this way we can show / prove our trust/faith in/toward Him

indeed, there are "faith" and "trust" He requires from us , and He gives to us plenty of situations to prove these
