What Was Meant By 'Abstain From Blood'?

i have always been very hardcore about my aversion to blood and have never even considered the possibility that this was merely a dietary restriction.

i always bought into the analogy of a doctor telling a patient to abstain from alcohol... it wouldn't matter whether this individual drank the alcohol or took it intravenously... it would all be in direct contradiction to the doctor's orders to 'abstain' from alcohol.. or the other analogy is to an apple pie... if you weren't to eat the pie, it would not be okay to separate it out into the main parts (or 'components)... ie.

the flour, the apples, the sugar or the cinnamon... if they were taken from that pie, you were eating the pie.. so maybe you can see where the questions popped up for me.

Religion is in fact "false worship" - not 100% lie , but its variable percentage (of lie) in religion make it fallible before God

God requires "worship with spirit and with truth"

Religion is an imitation of that ( more or less imitation )

This unnumbered forms of worshiping (religions) are forming Babylon the great

"Today" this Babylon is exposed and shortly it will reach its end

What comes then ?

God's Kingdom ! (formed by those practicing the "worship with spirit and truth" )

So , let's listen to Jesus as the Father's will is ( Matt.17:5 )

Zechariah 8:11,12 - Jehovah announces the 70-years ended?

hi folks,.

i've been reading into the zechariah scriptures (zech 1:7, zech 1:12, 7:1-5 etc) about when the 70-year desolation period ended, but i couldn't seem to find much about zechariah 8:11, 12. chapter 8 continues where chapter 7 left off (chapter 8 mentions that jehovah "continued" to speak), so the time frame is the same as in the beginning of chapter 7 (4th year of darius, around november 518).

wittnesses of who?

jehovahs wittnesses have adopted their name because they want to show that they are wittnesses for jehovah, but i need to point this out for your consideration first the name jehovah while it shows your referereing to jhwh really is not valid in the least, to be a wittnesses of some one in any court you must have his real ful.

name, proxies [stand in names] are not allowed.

second it was jesus christ who comisioned us to work for him.. third he is the mediator between us and god, hence how or why can you be a wittness for jehovah ?

indeed. the Christians-Bible Students under JFR. have taken wrongly upon them the Name "JW"s"

but they have done many other wrong things , or have given many wrongs interpretations of Scriptures

regarding the Name , YHWH has prophecised that His people will receive a new name

Isaiah 62:

2 The nations will see your righteousness,
and all kings your glory;
you will be called by a new name
that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.

The "new name" is that of "Christian" , that is , a follower and believer in Christ

all people who return to God now , after realizing that they have been departed from God's word , are appreciating again the Name given by Father to His Son's followers and believers : Christians

Acts 11:26 ..... The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch

This is the new name : Christians .

witnesses, for some reason, feel they deserve massive credibility in bible predictions and interpretations.

enough that they feel they have to right o be considered an universal authority.. their claim to fame comes from, mainly, their stance on blood, the trinity, immortality of the soul and hellfire.

maybe this is actually what the bible teaches... but to me, it is a moot stance in regards to the position they claim to have a right to.. the witnesses have been heralding the coming of christ for well over a century.

the real understanding of these words is , for a long time , for each of us - who worshiped God through (so called)"God's organization" , the GB and those around them has been seen/perceived as "heavenly luminaries" , being also persons "with heavenly calling"

NOW , the reality around us demonstrates that "the increasing light" coming from them is , in fact , "darkness" !

than means that "the powers of the heavens shall be/are being shaken"

yes , they are the "old heavens" to be destroyed ...

the verse 30 says that "the sign of the Son of man" ...

well , the Son of man includes those who really are members of the "Body of Christ" now on earth

how will they be recognized ?

again Jesus words :

43. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear.

so , they will " shine forth as the sun" ...

will we be able to identify them ?

This way does God describe His ongoing action (of replacing the old heavens with the new ones )

Isaiah 51: 16 And I have put my words in thy mouth, and have covered thee in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.

and what will be the result of His work ?

Revelation 21: 1. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more.
