I have question about the new light on the statues toes

my son went to the dc this past weekend and we visited on the phone for a bit about what he picked up there.

he of course was sad and worried for us because we no longer have anything to do with the org.

we covered alot of issues that had to do with why i felt that the org did not have gods holy spirit.

Until someone will post the WT significance of the "toes"

I will post here what I have found through a deep study on matter:

The prophecy of the great image of Daniel 2 is in fact the history of the "society" (WT)and the people associated with it - during the period called "the latter days" - that is, starting with 1872.

Now, Jehovah who knows the end of a thing from its beginning has foretold in His prophecies what is to happen to this "society"
the "society" was prefigured by the great image of Daniel 2

--at the beginning it was of "gold" - something good and "pure" / of value before God (during Russell's time )

--then of "silver" something of value, but less value than at the beginning (during Rutherford's time )

-- the third "material" was "brass" - that is IMITATION of gold , so it is made by the great imitator of God, Satan - it describes "the organization" under the leadership of MOL (this MOL has the authority directly from Dragon / Rev 13:2 ) - starting with 1942 with Knorr and further...

-- it follows the "iron and clay" : we are today at this point:
the toes partly of iron and partly of clay do represent two types of human character of those involved in this society ( the organization ruled by WTBTS )

the iron :
Isaiah 48:
4. Because I knew that thou art obstinate,
and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;

the "iron" = those who don't let themselves be modeled/shaped by God's word , those who are opposing to God's commandments and warnings

the clay
Isaiah 64:
8. But now, O Jehovah, thou art our Father; we are the clay,
and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

the "clay" = those (characters) who let Father's word work in their hearth and are ready to make changes (repent)

- - the "iron" are the ones having the "mark of the beast" on their forehead and hand (totally idolizing the WT org. and its GB)
while
- - the "clay" are God's sheep ( prisoners of this organization) which must be pulled out/made free from under the "Pharaoh"s domination and brought into God's Kingdom ( Micah 7:15 )
this is an action started /ongoing

Today the "angels" send by Jesus are sounding with "God's trumpet" and advertising that God is going to punish the "city" (so called His organization) because of its practicing idolatry ( obeying the GB and WTS more than His Son )

the "iron" doesn't want to hear that and goes ahead on their own way (manifesting their obstinacy)

the "clay" pay attention to what the Son is teaching through the Spirit of truth and is ready to obey (and repent)

there is no possibility to be unity between these two types of "worshipers" of God

at this time the Kingdom is "coming" on earth .

The "coming" of the Kingdom means/results in the disintegration of the WT organization - (the great image)

I truly hope this may be understood,

to the making of many books is worrisome as the bible says yet the last time we received a ypa book it was 2008 volume 1, 2 now this weekend we received volume 1 revised.

wow and so many are excited about us killing so many trees to repeat the same thing over and over again.

i need to vent a bit and could easily get on to many issues of wtbts and its goober body.

the next year (2012) the "70 years of Babylon" will end , and the fall will begin with the fall of the "daughter of Babylon" or WTS.

After leaving Jw's did you go into another religion or serv. god ur own way?

i am just curious if you guys left jw's and now worship in some other relgion or worship in your own way?

have you sworn off organized religion ?

if you have not sworn off organized religion then i wonder what relgion seems to be the right one for you guys?

After being made free of man made organized religion , is the best time and opportunity to learn from Jesus , listen to him and "seeking first the Kingdom of God"

then the rest will be added to us

what "the rest" ? - community ( congregation , christian friends , the necessary knowledge, etc )

during our life in the org we were in the "wilderness"

there God is making (preparing) a way (of worshiping)

Isaiah 35

8. And a highway shall be there, and a way; and it shall be called the Holy Way.

The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for the redeemed;

the wayfaring men, yes, the simple ones and fools, shall not err in it and lose their way.

(Amplified Bible)

For those loving God , Jesus and God's righteousness , it is "the way of holiness"

Needed Organizational Changes for WT

i am concerned about the spiritual welfare of the jehovah's witnesses.

surely we all have noticed an unhealthy development in their leaders attitude, the "governing body".

they have more and more begun to emphasize their importance and their power, in the literature and talks and thereby drawing unnecessary much attention to themselves.

there is an inspired command for Christians

1 Tess. 5:
20. do not despise prophetic utterances.
21. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good;

It is shown to us - in order to understand - that the GB is prefigured by the old Pharaoh - and his state of heart before God
he was incorrigible - "neck of iron" toward God's reminders/instructions

Isaiah 48:

and it will happen like this

Micah 7:
15. As in the days of thy (sons of Jacob) coming forth out of the land of Egypt will I show unto them marvellous things.

the scene of "ten plagues" is going to repeat .

the Pharaoh is incorrigible , the sheep must be taken from under his domination "with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm"

regarding the final part of this Society , the One knowing the end of a thing from its beginning knows how it will end !

Jan, the action you want to do also others are trying ...
...but the result will be as it was prophesied in the inspired word:

Jeremiah 51:
9. “‘We would have healed Babylon,
but she cannot be healed;
let us leave her and each go to our own land,
for her judgment reaches to the skies,
it rises as high as the heavens.’

If you will be among those who leave her (Babylon) and will go to "your own land" (which is Zion for the "sons of Zion" ) ,
then you will can do what it is further said :

10. “‘The LORD has vindicated us;
come, let us tell in Zion
what the LORD our God has done.’

What Was Meant By 'Abstain From Blood'?

i have always been very hardcore about my aversion to blood and have never even considered the possibility that this was merely a dietary restriction.

i always bought into the analogy of a doctor telling a patient to abstain from alcohol... it wouldn't matter whether this individual drank the alcohol or took it intravenously... it would all be in direct contradiction to the doctor's orders to 'abstain' from alcohol.. or the other analogy is to an apple pie... if you weren't to eat the pie, it would not be okay to separate it out into the main parts (or 'components)... ie.

the flour, the apples, the sugar or the cinnamon... if they were taken from that pie, you were eating the pie.. so maybe you can see where the questions popped up for me.

as most of us know, if you look at most any religion today you might see bit of good and bits of bad, bits of truth and bits of falsehood, some christian teachings, some pagan practices & origins.

doesn't seem to matter where you look - the jw's included.

so i find myself asking myself, "to what degree of accuracy and consistency is it fair to hold today's religions to?".

As most of us know, if you look at most any religion today you might see bit of good and bits of bad, bits of truth and bits of falsehood, some Christian teachings, some pagan practices & origins. Doesn't seem to matter where you look - the JW's included. So I find myself asking myself, "To what degree of accuracy and consistency is it fair to hold today's religions to?".

Religion is in fact "false worship" - not 100% lie , but its variable percentage (of lie) in religion make it fallible before God

God requires "worship with spirit and with truth"

Religion is an imitation of that ( more or less imitation )

This unnumbered forms of worshiping (religions) are forming Babylon the great

"Today" this Babylon is exposed and shortly it will reach its end

What comes then ?

God's Kingdom ! (formed by those practicing the "worship with spirit and truth" )

So , let's listen to Jesus as the Father's will is ( Matt.17:5 )

33. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness ... - Matt 6.

sunday morning food for thought.. ...into the temple of god "entry into the holy place" and that it is accomplished through baptism "bodies bathed in clean water" which also includes a public declaration "the public declaration of our hope".

heb 10:19-23. .

now if the association with baptism and entry into the temple is understood a further examination of baptism should help the reader comprehend some simple baptism criteria which is mentioned in the following by the apostle matthew:.

Zechariah 8:11,12 - Jehovah announces the 70-years ended?

hi folks,.

i've been reading into the zechariah scriptures (zech 1:7, zech 1:12, 7:1-5 etc) about when the 70-year desolation period ended, but i couldn't seem to find much about zechariah 8:11, 12. chapter 8 continues where chapter 7 left off (chapter 8 mentions that jehovah "continued" to speak), so the time frame is the same as in the beginning of chapter 7 (4th year of darius, around november 518).
