by minimus inone of my best friend's, who is an ex elder had two elders visit him at his home yesterday to invite him to the memorial.
he was cordial to them because they were'nt over the top.. so far, i have had no invites, thank god..

by Pyramid God ini was invited by my parents, and even though i have nothing but contempt for this religion, things have been good in our relationship so i was considering going just to appease them.

my first public talk, given in my early 20s, was actually a twenty-minute part of a symposium talk.
my pioneer partner friend and i each had twenty minutes and a "servant" had the concluding part.

What Is The World View Of America?
by minimus ina lot of people felt that the usa's reputation was terrible, especially under president bush.
then obama became president and we heard how the rest of the world felt that finally they had a person that would respect them and their views and work with them!
the new president even ot a nobel peace prize because of the world's perception.. what's your view of america?

Same sex marriage legalised in the UK at midnight tonight!!!

lots of people are getting married at midnight tonight.. what do you guys think?
maybe if anyone gets called on by a jw this weekend you can ask them what they think about it.. im just glad because it shows that religion doesn't define our conscience, that basic human decency can prevail over time and hopefully, these types of gradual but big changes will be present in the wts too in the future .

I will make a seperation between the people and those who control the place called America.
Not the best view, due to the wars, messing around and creating problems to other countries, genocides, (see nuclear destruction of Hirosima and Nagasaki) Vietnam, lots of wars here and there in the globe in the name of freedom(in order to put their hands to oil and natural resources of other countries)globalization, genetically modified food, polution from heavy industries, Hollywood industry, with propaganda and films that the promote immorality, drugs, violence, the Indians are the "bad guys" despite the fact that they faced genocide and their land was occupied by immigrants who show now respect to them, music idols, like "Hanna Montana", crap food like McDonald's and KFC, and most of all a place that cults grow like no other place on earth, (see Mormons, Scientology, Pentecostals) and the worst of them, the Watchtower, that f**d my life and hundreds of thousands all over the world...
