it's a shame , but its probably true, i bet there are more ex-witnesses (those who are dis'ed or dont go anymore)who still believe its the truth than those who don't.. what do you think?

where do i start?

my mom and dad had gotten into the jw religion about 23 years ago.

about 5 years ago, my mom fell away from the religon and then eventually ended up divorcing my dad.

well, it's sunday and we've done reading the sunday papers, so thought it might be nice to poll the worldwide community on some important issues.

Bad influence of JW's

when i think about growing up as a witness, the worst thing my mind was subjected to was thinking about, and actually believing that, everyone, even "good," moral people, would die at armageddon except "faithful" jws.

the more i thought about this, the more i came to believe that i don't want to serve a god that would kill billions of people simply because they were not jws.

if that did happen, i would not be happy in paradise, laughing and enjoying myself, knowing that jehovah and his armies had slaughtered so many people for that ridiculous reason.

depressed man diagnosed as "british" from the guardian:.

george farthing, an expatriate british man living in america, was recently diagnosed as clinically depressed, tanked up on anti-depressants and scheduled for controversial shock therapy when doctors realised he wasn't depressed at all - only british.

so...i have been involved with jws for 21 years, have a wonderful husband and 4 wonderful daughters( i am so lucky!!!

) and for a year or so have been steadily leaving the org.it didnt amswer my questions or satisfy my needs at first- but then i started to do my own searching and found out alot of things that were just wrong.

my oldest daughter decided to da herself and i knew that i would never turn my back on her.

Stop calling Britain, England.

just a small request to you all.. britian is not england.. england is a part of britian, as is wales, scotland .a lot of what you may think is english is in fact welsh or scotish.. it is like me refering to the usa as new york .. if this carries on i'll have no other choice but to call the usa canada.
