  after being appointed an elder how what is the shortest timeframe you have seen to be accepted as a substitute circuit overseer?.

  elder has 2-3 years of regular pioneering and averages 80-140 hours per month.person has been an elder for 1-2 years.elder has completed at least one temporary bethel assignment, or temporary special pioneer assignment.elder has gone to pioneer service school.elder has gone to school for congregation elders.family has written the branch for an assignment in an area of greater need and is currently serving in one of those areas.gives the co a green handout to help out with his expenses on each visit.has the co over for a meal each visit.has phone number and email of co and communicates at least every other month - just to chat about how things are going, good service experiences, etc.

  What is the shortest timeframe you've seen for one to go from Ministerial Servant to an Elder if he:

  • Gives the CO a green handout to help out with his expenses on each visit.
  • Has the CO over for a meal each visit.

  • Gives meaningful comments several times at each meeting.
  • Serves as a regular pioneer, and is exceeding the hour requirement. Averages 80-140 hours per month.
  • Serves on the RBC to help build Kingdom Halls.
  • Goes to an unassigned territory assignment to help out at least once per year.
  • Assists in pre/post assembly/convention setup, and works in departments during the event.
  • Is scheduled, shows up, and gives good public talks in his local and other congregations; about once per month.
  • Is meeting all the other assignments given him by the elders.
  • His family is a good example in the congregation and his wife is a regular pioneer who is meeting her hour requirement.
  • His wife get's along well with the elders wives, and the circuit overseer and his wife.
  • Is regular in all his personal study, family worship, etc.
  • Has put in applications for temporary bethel work, and a temporary assignment as a special pioneer.
  • Visits infirm ones, and does best to encourage others in the organization.

  i wonder if the pioneer assist others program being discontinued in august 2010 is one of the first service department changes, that has been implemented since theodore jaracz passed away?.

  i wonder if they will also be considering the requirement for pioneer hours in hopes of getting more individuals to sign up to pioneer?.

  i expect two things to happen soon, one for sure...... .

  1. loads of new light, the many changes that are going to happen are evidence of new light, which is done when other gb members taking over lead use their own ideas, but it's really new light.. 2. if things get out of control with this new generation thing, the two who passed away will prob be the scrape goats for that false understanding, and no need to get rid of the apostacy since jah made sure it was taken care of.

  (like ray franz for 1975, my whole family believes all those dfed were apostates who put that in the wt) funny how it was given in talks 4-5 years before ray franz was ever added to the gb ;).

  i looked around as this explanation was being offered up, and the looks on the faces of people there was mostly disinterest.

  my guesses for releases this year will be an update creation book and a book on jeremiah.

  two books were released as recently as 2008 so i don't think this would be out of the question.. friday.
