  what will be the end game whether in a few years, our lifetime, or hundreds + years from now.

  bible prophecy did say israel / jews would be scattered then eventually brought back.

  russell was declaring that and it was believed before being changed shortly before it happened.

  Who would you like to hear of leaving the Jehovah's Witnesses ?

  i'll start off with this one:.

  some years ago when i was formulating my exit, i employed for some time an ms brother from another congregation.. i'd had a couple of young "worldly" lads work for me but they proved unreliable as they used drugs or alchohol and consequently would'nt arrive at work and such like.. so when i was was contacted by this brother and spoke to him and heard he'd worked at the australian bethel for some time on construction and wanted an opportunity to learn the trade of bricklaying ,i thought ,"great someone to finally trust and be reliable".

  he was in his 40's at the time and he worked like a trojan ,was honest ,really likeable and interesting ,could play the classical guitar beautifully ,had a beautiful family.

  Yes it must be really frustrating to have loved family members still in when you know what they are trapped in.

  I have little family but when I raised my children I brought them up that their parents religion is something that they would need to decide on when they were older ,and thankfully they rejected it.

  And Pete that would be great , Sophia and Caleb leaving ,make a great youtube video as a send up.

  I'd had a couple of young "worldly" lads work for me but they proved unreliable as they used drugs or alchohol and consequently would'nt arrive at work and such like.

  So when I was was contacted by this brother and spoke to him and heard he'd worked at the Australian Bethel for some time on construction and wanted an opportunity to learn the trade of bricklaying ,I thought ,"great someone to finally trust and be reliable". He was in his 40's at the time and he worked like a trojan ,was honest ,really likeable and interesting ,could play the classical guitar beautifully ,had a beautiful family. The only thing was he just did'nt grasp fully the skills he needed to become a good bricklayer ,but that did'nt matter too much as he still did excellent alternate work with a few changes made.

  We used to have fantastic conversations at work during breaks, and I even was able to talk frankly about my doubts of the WTS and it's governing body. He listened respectfully and even expressed his own doubts and noted some of the things he saw at Bethel ,but he said he could never leave because of his wonderful wife and his two teenage girls ,he did'nt want them to be hurt.

  Years later I still think of them and wish they could have found peace outside the Org , so if you are ever browsing this site "Pharoah" (nickname my son gave him because he was Egyptian) I'd wish the best for you and your family!

  Did an EX-JW wake you up to TTATT or did you put the effort to wake up yourself?

  how many of us were woken up by some apostate yelling false prophets at a convention?.

  how many of us were woken up by someone holding a sign and yelling, what happened to 1975.

  how many of us were coerced to investigate the wt because some ex-jw pulled up a bunch of old watchtowers magazines and told us to read the false predictions?.

  Over time I collected experiences and observations I had within the org and challenged some of these with elders who did not give satisfactory answers ,one main one was child molestation within the org ,how that had affected my wife ,and how the elders and the org dealt with it.

  I found Bill Bowens Silent Lambs site and the door opened for me to explore the hypocrisy of the WTS in this matter ,and then in turn exploring the internet I found the answers to the doubts that had developed over time from my negative experiences from within the org

  This led me to trace back in time the teachings and actions of JWs before the CD rom the WTS put out of their literature, it only covered after 1970. Of course it was a revelation, as before the internet there was simply so few sources to query anything JW teachings related. Depending on which hall you attended , the library there may only have newish publications so it was hard to find out and research the lies and perpetual changes.

  Governing body member engaged... Again!

  just found out that the australian governong body member known as geoffrey jackson got engaged to a sister about two weeks ago.

  it really shocked me at first but then i remembered how other members of the gb have remarried in the past like daniel sidlik.

  what made me say "woah" was hearing that the holy bride to be is really young!

  this issue contains the study articles for february 29 to april 3, 2016.. what about the number of those partaking at the memorial?12, 13. why should we not worry about the number of those who eat the bread and drink the wine at the memorial?12 in recent years, we have seen an increase in the number of those partaking at the memorial of christs death.

  that trend contrasts with the decrease in the number of partakers that we saw for many decades.

  Buffoons,,,,,why then, take a record of partakers ,record the number ,exclude yourself and then say there will be a number who are mentally deluded into thinking that they are of the 144K?

  The figures are worthless UNLESS the observers take note of the partakers and then interrogate them ,like the old saying goes...".point a finger at someone and there's more fingers pointing back at you".

  pandemonium broke out at the headquarters of the watchtower bible and track society as hundreds of former bethel workers protested being released from their assignments and told to vacate the premises.

  the governing body members barely escaped the wrath of the mob, some without the shirt on their backs.

  just had the co visit tonight.

  i asked him if he had heard about the worldwide halt of construction besides warwick and to my surprise he said he heard the same thing.

  then he went on and add that also some branches are closing and some bethelites going into pioneering but, "all because of the preaching work now.

  Sorry about the cursing ,my bad ,it's what I thought they say ,but on reflection no-one who allows former molestors back into the congregation to be elders again would do that ,would they?
