I'm no longer surprised about anything when it comes to this organization. I know someone, an active JW who has been so since before I was born and remembers my mother bring pregnant with me, who believes in aliens and a lot of other stuff that would be frowned on (and indeed, is). He's still in. Mind control is a powerful thing.

so i ask, how active are you?

if you took a snap shot of the last five days, can you find moments of exercise or doing something besides sitting in front of the computer, lifting a remote or fork, or perhaps walking to get the mail?

my updated story and my thoughts

right now im fading and haven't been in service for 5 months 0000 in for 16 years ministerial servant for about 8.5 years pioneered for 3 years around 1994-97 later auxiliary then around 2004 got back on pioneer list for about the same time became elder for 5.3 years when i began reading books nothing apostate but then began searching apostate literature.

i could ignore web sites like six screens and other apostates because u can tell when someone is just looking for attention and out to hurt or revenge.

so i researched my research and found the lies in wt literature.

Now looking back, I wish I had spent some more time investigating 607 BCE instead of shoving it to the back of my mind. Instead I shelved it for a good 10 years. Just recently I'm starting to read about history and logic and philosophy and it is amazing how little I knew (when I thought I knew everything that was important to know).

Oh boy do I know that feeling! Now that I am out and haven't set foot in a Kingdom Hall since July, I'm really starting to learn things! For instance, the history of our country, which was never important because the end was coming!! Who needs history?? Who needs to know this stuff? Not me! Now I'm like a sponge absorbing every new tidbit of information I come across. I talk with my bf for HOURS (literally...we talked for 5 hours one night... and our average is 2 lol) about this and that. And while we don't always agree, we thoroughly enjoy the exchange of thought! We don't argue and we both attack the argument and not the person presenting it. It's so incredibly awesome to be able to exchange thoughts and ideas with someone I love and NOT have to worry that he's going to report me to the elders for my differing ideas! He encourages me to learn! Pretty much every night, I can count on him saying "Hey baby? You have your laptop fired up? I want to show you something..." and he proceeds to blow my mind lol. We discuss religion, philosophy, politics, history... Anything and everything. Nothing is really off-limits.
