I can't tell what's going on here.
I was away for a week and I come back and it's like Disneyland here. LOL
are we referring to the ramblings of religious psychotics?.
villabolo.

it was time for a new look.
so i have been playing around with some ideas.
when i was in winnipeg i had a hairdresser that was great.
i've noticed we have a few male posters here with wives who are still in the jws.
and i can think of one female poster (cognac) with a husband in the jws (although things are looking up for her).
of course we have a few spouses that came out together.. is it me, or does it seem like the women here are more likely to have divorced their jw husband--even before leaving--whereas the men are more likely to stay with their wives?
The ex: Definately a controller, still tries to control me. I call him a "subtle abuser". Nothing really overt is done or said in public, but behind closed doors - everything I said was stupid, everything I liked was dumb, everything that interested me was idiotic. And absolutely everything was my fault. My favourite was this one time when he was BBQing ( He was really bad at it, turn the heat on high and walk away every time....) and he burnt the crap out of some pork chops. Not just burnt, I'm talking black through and through. Whose fault was it??? Mine, because I HAD BOUGHT DEFECTIVE PORK CHOPS!!!! Sounds funny now, but not so much at the time.
The current boyfriend: Was a successful fader before I came along. Now we're both df'ed. But boy, THIS man knows how to treat his woman! He does all the little things that really tell me how much he loves me. He has too much respect for women to be a JW man. I remind myself every day, not to take him for granted like my ex did to me.
right.....many of you have said certain things would get people infront of a jc but ive thought different, mainly because i know of similar cases that havent gone before jc...but whats your view on jw and finding a jw partner on the internet???
i thought it was wrong???.
apparently not!!!!!!!
FYI:
My ex-husband is on a couple of JW dating sites. Without going into details, I saw his profile on them and it is completely full of bogus lies!! He has totally misrepresented himself. I would caution anyone to be careful going on there.
I suppose most of you are safe, though, as he seems only to be interested in 18-24 year olds (30+ years younger than himself).
if we still lived in the time when men offered your father animals in exchange for your hand in marriage ... what would you say is a fair trade for you?.
would you be flattered if a man offered your father 500 cattle for you?.
Hmmmm.....
I'm surprised none of you men have mentioned having any chocolate in the offer....

Darren Flutie (football player) asked me out one time after the Player Awards and I told him, "You can't afford me."
He said "Don't you know who I am? I'm Darren Flutie." And I said, "I know who you are and you still can't afford me!"
He just laughed.
her son, jesse, is in serious condition.. my son is in surgery and may lose his hand and arm.. jesse got an infection in a cut on his finger.
his finger and hand swelled to the size of an arm .. .
they have to do surgery on his hand and arm.
Still checkin in.
Glad to hear things are better for Jesse. It takes alot of personal strength to keep going. Sounds like he is a FIGHTER!!
Keeping you both in my thoughts every day!!
Please keep giving the updates, when you can, FlyingHigh!!
a jw called my wife to talk business yesterday, and voluntarily mentioned her son was living with them again.. now you have to understand, we have not associated with the jw's for 13 plus years.
so it took my wife by surprise that a jw, knowing our situation, would mention this.
but it gets better, there is more to this story.. she then volunteered, he's been living at home with them for over a year since.......bethel "re-assigned" him as she said sarcastically.. "how long was he at bethel?
ok here we go...im going to put my head on the chopping board (so to speak).
i only came on here to meet new people and have chats etc...yes i am a jw and do love jah.....but im also just an average person who im pretty sure many of you would get on with if we had the time to chat about other things too.... i think some want me to go....sad but yes true.....if you all want me to go then i'll do that..im fine with it as i just want to please people...... i know jb and some say they want to go to my elders, and honestly im fine with that but surely if someone is threatening then they clearly dont want me on here...... time to go???????
or as big brother would say "who goes...you decide"?

This is why I like this forum.
THIS IS THE TRUTH PEOPLE, not the whitewash BS you hear at every assembly. I thought for years that I was the one who was crazy.
Poor dude, poor poor dude. How disappointed and heart-broken he must be.....
I hope he he finds a way to make it in this world.
